i missed it. I can't stand jimmy fallon, and I started disliking Conan O' Brien as soon as I discovered Craig Ferguson. Ferguson is my new favorite tv personality. He actually seems to be having fun on stage, which I haven't been able to say about Conan since Andy left

Ferguson's show sucks.

Fallon is a better choice than promoting Carson Daily. God, that would have been awful.

i disagree with everything you just said. Carson more than deserved that spot; he's an amazing interviewer. Even Conan hasn't been anything but a cue card reader for years. All he does is just set up predetermined conversations with the same 3 jokes sprinkled in occasionally. Carson never reads off the cue cards and the conversations are always natural, flowing, and casual (the same with Ferguson). It's true his humor is downright horrible, but that's his writers fault not his. Craig Ferguson, tho, is hilarious stand up wise (without falling back to Paris Hilton jokes all day like Conan does) and he's a brilliant interviewer. Nothing abou this interviews are planned ahead of time, almost to a fault.

I watched a bit of Jimmy Fallon's show last night and it was horrible. Conan o brien humor just isn't his type of style at all. I don't think Jimmy's funny anyway, but he was especially awkward during the schtick and in the interviews. He kept talking over his guests and the humor was much worst than Carson's, and the presentation of the jokes was horrible.

but think about it, Fallon has a good relationship with tons of celebrities because he co-starred with them on SNL for all those years. This makes celebrities want to come on his show... I mean just look at his first week's lineup, some big names indeed.

Ferguson on the other hand gets nobodies. His show seems to be seen as a joke. I am seriously surprised it hasn't been canceled yet.

Carson Daily has always been shitty.

Carson Daly doesn't have a funny bone in his body.

He's better off for a teen bopper type show like TRL than he is hosting a late night comedy show.

he's not funny but his interviews are excellent. His conversation is natural and flows well. Fallon felt forced and awkward.
