Gerald Celente has now put a time-line when he predicts the greatest Depression in US history will be begin. 9 months from now. Today is March 18, 2009.
Comments and opinions? This is very short and to the point:

Well, I've said this before, I've just never given it a time table.
This is a very dire entry into the age of Aquarius, and unfortunately Obama will get the the undeserved blame for this, along with, yes, Bill Clinton.

I was just making an attemtpt at being facetious.
But I'm surmising we are being led in this direction for a reason. To become an American Union, The North American union. The signatory of this document, was 'W', but it is not even being addressed by Obama, which has me thinking, this may truly be the reason for what has occured these past 8 years, and is still being allowed to occurr.
And to further propel my concern is, Obamas first two foreign policy visits were to Mexico and Canada.
Forgetting, at least for a year and a half now, we've heard nothing of illegal immigration!

I foresee a renaissance of the entertaining arts. Small bands and local performing arts houses will see a huge increase as people look for an escape. Artists will have to start actually having talent as competition will be heavy, this will be akin to vaudeville and the depression era greats, Jazz like music will become popular, not exactly jazz but free-form jamming. Local art communities will make films to show in theaters that can't afford to pay big money for a dozen Hollywood shows each night. This is my optimistic approach to the subject......

Remember folks, Gerald Celente is a "political athiest," meaing he's not partisan and doesn't favor one party over the other.
This is not about GWB or Obama.
This is about the Macro-economy. As 9 months (this coming December) is not far away in the future, we'll be able to judge and see for ourselves if Gereld Celente is right, partially right, or wrong.

I hope for the best, but I know we haven't even seen the full impact of the potential fall of AIG or the auto industry and other global markets are having major problems. I hope he's wrong but would guess he's at least partially correct.

Honestly, you really can't blame much of this on any politician, including GW. Aside from the spending in Iraq, which has a trivial impact at best, what has Bush done to cause this? The blame should be placed on everyone who bought a house they couldn't afford, the jerkoffs who wrote their loans, and all of the companies and executives who put so much effort into short-term goals that would not lead to long-term success. In essence, blame greed.

Wasn't previous depressions preceded by large supposed infrastructure monies investment by the government?
|
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

Our last depression was created by the contraction of the money supply....by our central bank.

Yup, and to think, we had our Revolution to free ourselves from the very concept the Central bank was founded on!

This is the real reason we're in Iraq and Afghanistan. You control the worlds oil supply, you are the "New World Order".

They don't but their neighbors do and there other neighbors are who we don't want supply lines going through...Would you ask for someone to pass you your wallet if it had to be passed down a line of thieves and identity pirates before it got to you or would you ask the person to toss it to you behind their backs?

No.
And the New Deal by FDR, that came after the depression did not end it.
WWII, did.

Celente is a case of hypebole IMHO. He has a service/product to sell and he is pitiching it to the viewers of Fox News there.

This clip makes a fair point...One that I agree with to a certain point, but HYPERinflation won't be the case. They also persuasively speak of how the USD SHOULD be not be the world backed currency.
Consider that source...its a state sponsored news outlet from one of our oldest adversaries.

Here's part 2 of a Gerald Celente interview. Part one is on youtube, but here is part two because it's a focus on the banks and the old Wall Street cronies.
