no one understands them, its near impossible, just be yourself and dont overthink it am you will find someone you can kind of understand.

Yeah thanks for almost giving up on the question. I almost doing that too.
But you sure learned something about them over the years and you must have some theories about them but maybe you dont want to share it. I think most guys are like that, they develop some theory and think.. "I think I got it but I wont tell anyone" Why would you tell anyway? If I understood women using some theory, I would not tell.

Share! We can all learn. Do you know something? I think you know something about women! Share! Dont be like that. At least tell something of course.

there is no theory, they are people, men approach them like its a game, when you are younger it certainly is, but you eventually realize if you act normal you get further than putting on a show. you will never fully understand a woman, you will eventually unerstand how to live with them though.

1. Treat them good at the beginning

2. Now act like you really don't give a flying fuck about her

3. repeat steps 1,2


There you have it, works wonders with most women. Unless they are very secure and have good self esteem, this wont work then.

Man that's totally the opposite.
When you pick up a girl is when you have to act like you don't care.
The worst thing you can do is pay too much attention to them.

You can't just say you don't understand women because they're all different.

I'm compatible with my current girlfriend but there's this one girl I really liked in the past who would cry because she thought she looked fat, take four hours to get ready because she thought she looked fat, wouldn't eat at times because she thought she looked fat, would taunt me by telling me she was going to throw up her food on purpose.

Some women are just fucking crazy and some aren't.

You'll understand women the day you meet one who isn't a complete fucking nut job.

The thing that sucks is that the majority of attractive girls fall into that "not playing with a full deck of cards" category which means unless you hit the jackpot, you're going to feel your last vagina in your sixties and die an old man alone in your bed. That or get murdered...

I don't get it when people say then don't understand woman. Understand what? That is such a general question. I am not trying to be a dick.

What exactly is your goal? Are you trying to get laid? Do you want a girlfriend, or are you merely interested in their motivations? Like sox said, they are all different, but many provide a basic behavioral hard wiring that can be understood. Same goes for men.

LOL! I think Prince is correct in some aspect. Younger women are probably 99.9% driven by their emotions. However, as you get older I think it differs A LOT and our "emotions" are no longer the same kind of emotions. IMO.

WHAT WOMEN WANT

Nick Marshal obviously does not know what women want. He was raised as a testosterone-based bachelor, with the idea that he is the world's gift to all females. Everything changes for Nick after he experiences an accidental electrical shock that leaves him with the ability to read the minds of any female person. He abruptly pays a visit to his former marriage counselor (Bette Midler) who wakes him up on his unique gift that could be used to his advantage. He immediately takes charge of his new gift; it is interesting, funny, and always amusing to witness his reactions to women's personal thoughts and desires. The screenwriters take full use of the comic material, and use it selectively and wisely; the humor never gets in the way of the movie's message about a modern-day ladies man. By the end of the movie, Nick is a much better person than he was at the beginning of the story.

"What Women Want" is written with a sharp edge; the dialogue is poignant and sassy, the characters are witty, sexy, and often hilarious. However, there is also a positively sweet sentiment holding all of the material together and helping the story flow smoothly. There is plenty of effective comic content here, naturally revolving around Nick's ability to read the women's minds. The movie also develops Gibson's character well, and the lessons he learns about women are never too preachy or emotional to turn audiences off to the light-hearted humor. I also liked the unique direction by Nancy Meyers, whose style is keen and slick, sometimes taking the point of view of the woman in focus, allowing us to experience a variety of perspectives. She and writers Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa provide the leads with a lot of juicy material, and they take advantage of it all.

"What Women Want" falls into the usual pattern of concluding in a conventionally sweet, happy ending. The final romantic sequence feels contrived and unconvincing, unsettling, like a meet cute during a disappointing finally. Even the smiling faces of Helen Hunt and Mel Gibson cannot save a conclusion that is confusing and perplexing. After the movie, I asked a handful of audience members of their interpretation on the closing, and I got a handful of different responses, only one actually cleared up the whole situation for me. What a umbrage to a generally enjoyable romantic comedy.

Think of it like a new toy, car, computer. After a while you know the behavior of the toy. You take a frisbee and throw it in the air, it does frisbee movements. But women, go from frisbee to bullet. It doesnt not matter the purpose of the girl, friend, sex, long term relationship, they change their behavior for no probable cause and they blame on their hormones or you ask, is there something wrong? No! Is that really a no? It seems that women speak in many levels, what they say, what they mean and they really mean and sometimes they are really saying what they are saying. So fuck, why?

That is something I have been thinking about. You know, if I like someone ideally I would not play such games but it seems necessary. Anybody else agrees on the necessity of these games?

I disagree.
Women always will act off emotion.
Sure, the older they get, the longer they can stave off their emotional responses. But ultimately they will do what "makes them feel right".

This is the case 99% of the time.


The only thing a man has to do to get a woman is play to her emotions.

The only thing a man has to do to keep a woman, is maintain her emotions.

It really is that simple. The complex part is knowing which emotion is going off at which time and for what reason.

Sometimes there's not even a problem. But women will test you just to do it.
Women love to be reassured.

My girlfriend runs the relationship too

One tip I can give, make her feel important. Everything (or most everything) should be a 50/50 decision between the two. Make a woman feel important and she'll love you forever..until something better comes along.

Confidence is key

There's always an alpha in the relationship. The problem most of the time stems from two alpha's getting together.

Figure out which you are or want to be. It seems most men relinquish the alpha role to the women at some point in a relationship and that's where the problems for those men start.

*note* This doesn't mean someone is in total control. Rather it's the illusion of control. Really smart women have this figured out and allow their men to feel like the alpha when in fact behind the scene they are the alpha.

females are stronger than males in so many ways, the sooner a male realizes and accepts this he will have a rewarding and harmonious relationship, hence the woman is ultimately in control.
