Do you have a pet that does some crazy stuff?

Since comming home from the hospital, I have been helping my folks take care of their 4 dogs. One of them is a German Sheppard mix named Lucy and she just loves to nip me at the legs and just talk to me. I swear to God, I can hear her tell me "momma" right in front of me. And she does this with a smile on my face. Lucy does this every day after dinner and every morning when I get out of bed. My folks used to own another German Sheppard who did the same thing to me. I just wanna know why they did this shit to me and not any other family member.

Any of you have a story like this?
There are people who love me and there are people who hate me. I will take care of those people who love me and the rest can burn in hell.

My folks were given a Chiuahua by a pall who couldn't take care of her. Her name is Peanut. My mom and I decided to take a drive to Gilbert one day and decided to take Lucy (German Sheppard) and Riley (Pug). We stopped at a Starbucks and got drinks half way between and durring the trip, Peanut was eyeballing my mom's Frapachino. I look at Peanut and call out to mom "I think Peanut needs somthing to drink." So we stopped at a shopping center so we can get the dogs some water and a few other things. We go back to the car, I open up the passenger side door wile mom carries the bags. And I am staring at Peanut who's head is halfway down my mom's Frapachino cup.

    "Mom?"

    "Yes, Shae?"

"Did you really want your drink?"

    "Why did you ask?"

    "Peanut drank it all."

I have great danes, and my old female can open every door in the house...including the fridge.

If I have friends over and we get a little loud, she will go to my bedroom door, open it, go in, and close it behind her.

There is a set of six steps on my porch going down to the ground of the lawn. One time my Brittany Spaniel ran out the door, jumped and cleared all six steps and landed on the ground; he didn't miss a beat when he landed and just kept running. He was after a group of crows on the lawn. After he scattered the birds, he ran full speed back to the house and jumped up all six steps as easily as he jumped down them.

My Belgian Malinois does that, our stairs lead down both ways and span 10 foot at 4.5 foot high, she dashes out the door, hops off the porch does a lap around the yard, up the fence line and then 3 galloping strides and a jump and she clears the steps. The water bowl is on that side so she just makes the shortest trip to it. Al 5 of my dogs have distinct personalities, they throw fits, get excited about different things. I can even tell them apart by their voices when they bark......
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Your assumptions are that of negligence. You don't have the facts to make this assumption though. So chill the hell out and keep your depressing crap in the PETA section of this site!

The facts are this: she left her dog alone in the car, especially when she knew the dog was "eyeballing" her mom's Frappuccino. Even ignoring the car heat issue, she is still negligent for leaving her dog alone with a highly caffeinated beverage, especially when she suspected the dog wanted the drink. Research the effects of caffeine on dogs. This is no joke.

This is certainly not PETA crap. She endangered the life of her pet and then posted about it as if it were the funniest thing. If someone posts a story that they think is cute, and it turns out revealing what a shitty/negligent/ignorant person they are, I am certainly going to call them out on it.

I have a boxer who thinks it's a human, she is very smart and trained and amazes me everyday. Just yesterday, I had to run a few errands, so before I left, I took out a pack of chicken out of the freezer I keep in the garage and put it in the fridge to defrost. Anyway, I'm gone for about 2 hours, I return home and my dog greets me, but is limping and hopping on 3 legs, I immediatly talk to her in a soft sympathetic loving voice and am asking her what's wrong, all while stroking her. I quickly realise she was playing me for sympathy cause she knew she had been naughty and ate the whole pack of chicken. Damn dog!

i didnt leave my dog in a hot car. I have a seatbelt for my dog. How the hell does this make me look the other way. I was stating that because I'm sure that she had the intelligence to leave something open or on to circulate cool air. Dont make assumptions like that, dickhead.

My cat used to do crazy shit like that too. It got so bad I had to lock him out of the bedroom at night for fear of him dropping a horse head in my bed!

I woke up with lizards (and not the little guys, these were 8'' long and 3-4'' around), birds, frogs, etc. The little fucker never killed them either. It was a sick twisted game for him. Catch them, let them go, catch'em again, let them go again. After he got board he brought them to me for approval. He must have been a muslim extremist.
