You made one mistake. You forget to say "a friend of mine has this problem".
Your out now. It's OK...

There are some homos who share same locker room with straight people at my work. Recently, it is beginning to bother me. They seem to stare at me when I am using bathroom or changing uniforms. It is begening to make me feel very unconfortable, so I have been thinking about making a complain to HR about this. Do you guys think it is discrimination to kick homo out of straight peoples' locker room?![]()
Please debate.

I can see why you'd be a little uncomfortable. Gay guys love going to the gym for the eye candy. Separate bathrooms is kinda stupid but separate locker rooms makes sense. They're only 3-4 percent of the population though and I can't imagine companies going out of their way for that.

Take it as a compliment, or tell them not to stare at you? Same as if anybody else in the gym was doing something that pissed you off.

You're insecure. That's not HR's problem.
How would they get gay guys to go in the correct lockerroom?

I dont have a problem with it, hell I work hard to look this way so I dont mind of someone has a sneeky glance.
However there is this one guy at my gym, whenever we are there at the same time he will be sure to finish his workout before me, go into the changing rooms, get naked and cover himself with a towel. He'll then wait until I come in and then take his towel off so I can see his dick. This is quite strange and does make me feel slightly uncomfortable, maybe because he does it every fucking time he sees me.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought it was only fair to stare after I noticed you undressing me with your eyes. One good flirt deserves another.
Seriously though, maybe you should see a psychologist. Maybe they could help you deal with your homophobia. Also, in the United States, we account for about 10% of the population (we're basically at the same level as the Jewish people).

The only way you know if they are looking at you is if you look at them. Resist the temptation to make eye contact with anyone when you are in the locker room. I always do that. If you do, especially more than once, then you could be sending the wrong message.

What's wrong with comparing your wang with another man's wang Chobby?

as much as i dont mind people who are different than me, (only the really dumb ones), this is an interesting topic. i do not believe homosexual men are predators as they are commonly portrayed. that being said, if you put me in a locker room with a bunch of naked women, i would no doubt look. logically a gay man in a straight locker room would probably look as well. i live in new york city, used to frequent gyms, and play hockey in a league where i know there are gay players, in fact, some teams are sponsored (its a large league). i know that i have changed in front of gay man, and in fact in front of a team of them. i am secure in my sexuality and not a bigot, but i wont lie that it is a slightly uneasy situation. i usually just do it quickly and discreetly, even moreso than normal. i am not a naked talker, and usually am quick anyway. should they have their own locker rooms? no, but it is a difficult situation.

Women go through this with lesbians, too. Gay women can be a LOT more aggressive than gay men, if for no other reason than there aren't generally packs of strait women looking for gay women to beat up: there's less risk in being "out".
I got hit on - a LOT - in university.
I'd get all kinds of lines, like how I couldn't really be a feminist if I wasn't a dyke, how I'd never know unless I tried it (rather presumptuous on her part, don't you think?).
I ended up coming up with a line that just shut them down:
"Ever since I was young I've known I was... the same as most people. I tried to fight it, but this is just the way God made me. We're wired up the way we're wired up, and I like men. I've come out as a strait to my family and they've been really accepting of it. Quite frankly, my sexuality is just a smart part of who I am and I just wish people would let me live my life..."
