Do prescription painkillers, i.e. vicodin, or norco, affect gaining mass or fat loss in any way?

They Hold You Back......i Was On 120 Percs A Month For A Year. Ive Been Lifting 12 Years And That Was The Worst Year For Gains In The 12 Years. You Should Read About Them Online....theres Too Much To Explain!
 
I've tried finding out at much as I can, but google comes up with nothing. Pharmacists and my doctor's say it shouldn't interfere, but I'm not sure how much they know about effects of lifting anyway. Thanks for the replies, though. I'll keep checking around.
 
If you are getting painkillers might as well eat them while you get them.....doesnt last forever.

Ive read they effect gaining muscle
