WHat's your opinion on my new Max-OT routine? I want to go back to the basics. Any suggestions?
Im 22 years old, 5'8" and 180 lbs and have been training for 2.5 years, but I am just comming off of a 2 week break from lifting. My goal is to add as much lean muscle as possible...not necesarily...
Meal 1: 7am
6 egg whites, 2 whole eggs
100g oats (dry weight)
30g of whey
5g creatine mono
Meal 2: 10am
200g fat a day???
Peanut butter 1 tbsp
Chicken breast 200g
Brown rice 100g
Today I didn't drink my protein shake and also consumed instant oats instead of regular ones. My stomach feels fine, almost no bloating.
So I'll start with removing protein shakes and see if that helps. I down my protein shake first thing in the mroning and I mean I down it REALLY FAST. maybe that is the problem? ill see tomoreow
My diet consists of (I'm very strict):
- 100g instant oats
- 1 cup egg whites + 1 yolk
- 1 protein drink (100% whey conecentrate, no additives)
- 3 caps fish oil (2g dha/epa)
Ok, thanks BJG!
so why not to do one leg calf raises?
At my gym there is a standing calf machine, but it has very little weight on a stack. I maxed out it. So I wonder if switching to one-legged calf raises would be good option? I mean are there any...
ok, so Ill probably buy this one. but are velcro belts safe? I wont use it super tight obviously, so it shouldnt break...
so do you think this belt is fine:
or sth like this...
ok guys, thanks.
i will try one and see how it goes.
this is the most common type of belt
Do you think it is ok? or sth else would be...
hmm now I dont know what to do
THANK YOU KENNY!!
You;re very informative.
So if you have this routine to do, iin which lifts would you use a belt?
Monday - Back & Biceps
Deadlifts - 3x4-6
ok I understand. but THEORETICALLY lifting belt increases chance of getting hernia? it is kinda logical
Maybe a bit depends also on whether you button you belt superextra tight or a bit loose?
yeah, but isnt that LOGICAL? that belt creates danger in below and above areas (belt is only 10-15 cm width at most)?
One doctor told me that weightlifing belt can CAUSE hernia rather than prevent it. I mean it increases intra abdominal pressure, but its width is only 10-15cm. So areas above and below a belt are...
so you think max-ot isnt really optimal?
last set - 142,5kg
somone told me that I straighten my legs even before the lift starts, and he's right. I guess I need to correct that. I agree that ma lower back could be more straight... I...
