start with lighter weight to get you form and technique right . I am 52 still do squats once a week w/decent amt of wt. took a while to get form right but pays off.
could your infection have been caused by open cut or sore?
this is not scientific, but I circuit train resting as little as possible to cut time and move workout along. too easy to waste time.
seems like once you get off pills your wt will return. maybe a good temporary solution.
I would like to be able to force eat this many calories per day easier said than done. not to give too much info but when I force lot of calories food goes thru me quickly!
