Good thread, and good info and advice.
Luckily I was born with calves (don't know why).
Contracting at the top is always beneficial (like the bicepts and tris).
I do about 120+ reps for...
I've been lifting steady, and stopped doing cardio (except for walking with a HBP rate of about 120-125).
I started AM HIIT cardio in a fasted state and it does help me lose fat. Looking in the...
Cheers, Prince. Love it here!
I have good genetics for calves.
When I hit the calves on leg day at the end, I do 120 reps on standing curls (machine) and seated calf raises. Both weight.
As noted, contract at the top.
One example is derivatives.
Good to see you back on the board, LAM.
Yeah, I saw news reports and youtubes of people being scolded for breathing hard.
This is a shit gym for cardio bunnies that like to "dress up and look good" to "workout."
F*ck that place. I...
Talk about incompetence.
isn't Planet Fitness the gym that kicked people out for breathing hard and grunting?
I think it depends on:
The intensity of your back workout the day before and,
How long and how intense and heavy your row cardio will be.
Why don't you use another form of cardio? Options...

I have lots of sources of Magnesium and Zinc and B6 but they are in separate form.

I have never taken ZMA. There have been some studies...
I've been on and off BCAAs intra, but now it's just sipping a small bits of water.
I've read about and heard about FST-7.
Anyone here been doing it, on the board?
If I may ask, can you tell us what city you're in Ray?
The last time I checked, there are about 148,000 people entering the labor market every month in the USA.
The number of jobs created (which are largely low-paying service sector cash only jobs)...
Cheers to you, Heff.
I don't keep track of Maxes anymore. I used to build strength and focus on strength and "how much" but now it's the sets and reps and making sure I get a solid workout using a variety of different...
In bold, "4 sets of 8" what? What exercise?
2 sets of 50 barbell curls?
You could replace on exercise there on your biceps with a different exercise.
Many people can gain muscle growth by doing high rep, medium weight. Slow squeezes, and incorporating a slow motion on the up and down on some exercises.
As I noted on the elbow thread, I am in...
If I may chime in on your thread, Stunman.
I hurt my elbow 3 weeks ago doing BB Upright rows.
I was on the heavy side, but I could still do 8 reps. I did *not* break my wrists on the way up. ...
Fasted vs. non-fasted cardio has always been debated and will continue to be debated.
We are excluding 21 minutes of HIIT in the morning on an empty stomach correct?
Eric Broser swears by...
Yeah, I take a break from the red wine and Gin and Tonics from time to time.
After a while, it is a mindset. I feel a lot better without the booze, even though I usually drink 2 glasses of red...
