ALL domestics will be busted if they stay in the game for any length of time.
Especially if they sell person to person.
The more they expand the greater their vulnerability.
The one hour so called anabolic window is a myth. Supplement companies use it to make you think you need their products. You could wait 2, 12 or more hours (up to 36) and your gains wouldn't change.

I'm 61 and as long as I keep training to failure and don't give into the temptation of being lazy in the gym and with diet I am still gaining. I have never abandoned the core basics: squats/deads...

5x5 is a great strength program. If you want to add size train in the 10-12 rep range to failure.
Build your routine around DEADLIFTS and SQUATS. Work up to doing them twice a week.
