    Gynecologist

I wonder what it is like being a gynecologist and examining a hot, athletic chick. If he is a normal man, he would get somewhat aroused (who wouldn't). Am opinion of women is that "he is a doctor and his mind is on his job, not on sex."
A lot of women don't realize and understand that men get aroused by the sight of a nude women, that's just how we are wired. This is why more men view porn than women.
Ladies I want you to post to this topic as well and tell us guys your opinions on male gynecologists and what you feel like when some guy, who is not your boyfriend or husband, is looking at your privates and sticking his fingers in your vagina.
Also, what would be the difference between viewing porn and being a male gynecologist viewing and touching a patient's vulva/vagina?

it's a curious question, but I wouldn't imagine that it would be like watching porn all the time and getting some hands-on goods. Because regardless of where you are, for every hot chick with a clit ring, there's 1000+ ugly fat women that ruin it for ya. I like paying attention to exclusivly my woman, and it would ruin the fun going home from probing at work to probing the wife. Cuz it'd be too hard to be aroused.
besides, it's mostly the older women that need the gyno checkups, whereas younger better looking women tend to have other things to do than be all hypocaudriac about their kitty

I have been to a male gyno before but that was long ago and my bf was in the room with me. Now I feel more comfortable with a female, but hey, she could be gay too so what gives?

But I have heard of horror stories / rumours about male gynos though.....

I've never had much of a problem with a male gyno and no I don't think "all" of them view it as sexual, although my last male gyno, always commented on my piercings and tats and he seemed to like my breast a little too much, so I see a woman gyno now, but hell if you had one of those cold metal scrapers up ya, believe me sex would not be on your mind...........

Most girls I've known went to their first gyno at about age 18... unless they were a virgin, then they shouldn't go. It's like getting a physical... it's very important to make sure everything is working properly and you don't have some slow growing cancer or something.

In the states women 35 and older also get mamograms once a year.

I used to go to male docs but I found a woman doc that is great and have been seeing her for the last 8 yrs. She's married and her daughter is now an ob/gyn too at the same office!

Jodi - I really wish you'd go at least once... it's important!!!

Well one of my best friends is a gyno doc, he states that he does not get aroused but he does notice if a women is hot or not. whenever we are out we see his patients and its funny cause he says he cannot recognize them from the hips up. We ran into this super hottie once, he wanted to ask her out but he said it was weird. She was real hot!!!

My gynecologist dr Banovic from Zagreb is a male. He is so normal and professional that I never ever in 10 years feel embarrassingly. If you have pro dr, the gender is not relevant

Honestly, I don't know how male gynecologists don't turn gay, they see a lot of nasty stuff during their training. They see the worst that can happen to a woman's sexual organs. ( horrible genital warts etc etc.) My collegues in OB/GYN do not get aroused, like me, they notice a good looking patient but that is it. I have had my share of athletic men who were drop dead gorgeous but doing their rectal or testicular exam just did not do anything for me.

Yeah but you're a girl. You probably expect more from a relationship or a sexual encounter than just sex.
