They are still using unprotected regular & anal sex in adult films....
After the recent 6 month temporary closure of the LA porn HIV/AIDS scare you would think that adult film companies world wide would be forcing their performers to use safe sex habits on & off camera.
I would sure be scared.
I saw on one health forum that 41yr old star Rocco Sifreddi has Herpes & had recently come out with it in an interview within the last year or 2.
Rocco said that "everybody in this business has SOMETHING so it's no big deal. I simply don't work during out breaks".
Rocco also said that "the only reason that certain stars wear condoms is b/c the man or woman or both ppl have something & are trying to protect them selves from spreading whatever it is that they have".
IMO this is a pretty ignorant attitude.
To say that everybody in the biz has an STD or whatever else is just a BS attitude to take.
Not everybody has something.
There are however many "COUPLE'S" in the porn biz who will only do scenes with eachother & they don't use condoms.
For example when they were together while she was still shooting Jill Kelly & her now ex-boyfriend Julian.
Or blond hottie Devon & her blond tatooed musician now ex-boyfriend Barrett Blade I believe his name is
would only do scenes with eachother & used unprotected sex.
But when you work with 5, 10, 15 or even 20 DIFFERENT ppl a week, I think safe sex is required.
As with many STD's & viruses it can take as long as 6 months before they show. So testing every 2 weeks isn't always %100.
Just my opinion.

I bet sales would decrease with condom only flicks, personally I find condoms a turn off, both sensation wise and visually... watching pornos with condoms is a turn off... might not be 'right' but it is a preferance and one I think a lot of people have. If I pick up a vid and I see condoms on the cover I put it back and look for another.

As for using condoms personally I do find that they decrease sensation but it also depends on which type of condom you're using.
If you use the ultra thin, ultra srong Japanese condoms they are sooo much better than the crap found in the drug store.
You can actually feel most of the sensations. Go to a condom specialty store & you will find much better condoms.
But even then nothing is better than natural.
But not always a good idea if you're with a new person or having a one night stand, or even just using it as extra birth control protection.
But as for the videos, I'm fine with it either way.
After the recent LA porn scene Aids scare, I'd want to use condoms if I was in the biz to

Agreed, but they are necessary in this day and age at lest until you're exclusive with one person & they have proper birth control.many people feel that condoms take away from the intimacy of sex and turn it into a planned event...
