It's the other way around in my house, my husband is the one who wants to go eat after sex or watch a movie or something and I'm the one who rolls over and goes to sleep right away.

The only talking I want to hear is, "What kind of beer can I get you?"

We - MEN - work damn hard at the "work at hand" and after doing that we need to roll over and go to sleep to "recharge" - this is really not a good time to "talk" and it usually involves talk that has absolutely nothing to do with anything really important...

actually, during the male orgasm, some saratonin is converted into Triptophan. Triptophan makes you exhausted. You can only get a few minutes out of me after sex. It's also found in turkey.

My husband heard a study report on the news recently that stated scientists are now saying that after climax the muscles are depleted of gycogen, the energy for muscles and that because men have more muscle mass than woman this is why they generally are more tired after sex... he reckons that because I have substantial muscle mass this is why I want to fall asleep so quickly... he earned bonus points for that theory!

you mentioned strong orgasms, laughing n tears in another thread. i get the tears sometimes n also am one to pass out after sex. maybe there's a connection.

but when you both are awake after talking is okay but being quiet together or reading maybe listening to him play guitar.... very nice.

having sex earlier in the night prevents that from happening. it also gets you out of the habbit of always wanting to go to sleep after sex.

So what you're saying is, have sex earliy, talk, have more sex, go to sleep? That works!
