Sorry but those who consider it a personality disorder are wrong. I believe people are born with their sexuality and dont aquire it. Ive worked with many gay partners, in the gay community, and just dont accept any argument its "weird" or "different". People are simply born as they are, and frankly its not my business who's sleeping with who.

That said I'll never vote for Gay marriage. Or any Politician whos for it...................... Rich

I believe they for one reason or some screwed up other had sexual relations with another man and liked it up the butt... It's a choice! I'm guessing you're considering it to...

Can't marry but should be able to "legalize" their relationship somehow.

Anyway, I agree, I know several gay people, and I don't believe it's a choice.

I certainly wouldn't use the "who would chose to be insulted, ridiculed, and protested against" argument. There are many people who do the exact opposite of what the majority would consider normal just for reaction.

That being said I think the majority of gays are born that way. Although, there are a lot of freaks who'll try anything and like it.

IMO, The only ones who have a choice are bisexuals. Coz they choose which sex they want to have sex with. The others are those who made a choice to be celebate.

Being gay is as much a choice as being straight. You cant choose being gay or straight any more than you were able chose the sex you were born with.

If anyone claims that he/she made a choice to be straight, then it would imply that he/she did have active gay relationships for an resonable amount of time before deciding that being gay was not for them and decided to be straight. Or else how can you come to the conclusion to make such a choice without having experienced the other side?? "I have never eaten an apple in my life, but i choose not to eat one as i know i hate it"

And i dont buy that 'sanctity of marrige' BS. Most straight people do all sorts of crap before, during and after marriage. So there isnt much in terms of 'sanctity of marriage'.
