I am far from a homophobe. I actually support Gays and Lesbians getting civil liberties to equal that of a married couple. So maybe you shouldn't be so quick to judge.

However because I don't like witnessing two guys kiss hardly makes me a homophobe.

In the first place, my first post was not directed at you or anyone other than Pepper. Pepper has a history of making inane and homophobic comments. So there was no need for you to jump in. That you are all for equal right for gays and lesbians is commendable.

I am just sick and tired of hearing how disgusting two men together is, and how perverted it is, and how this and that, and "some of my best friends are gay (but I secretly think they're disgusting)". And all under the guise of people expressing their opinions. Well, that goes both ways. You may not think that the comments of Pepper and like him are offensive. They are. I've listened to this shit all my life and had Lev. 18:22 and Paul's preachings thrown in my face, when I don't even believe any of it, and I have had it.

I am sick of it, and I will go against anyone that does not treat us as equals, and that includes how we're talked about. Whether anyone likes it or not. That is MY right. I dont hate or judge anyone, but I'll be goddamed if I'm going to let comments like that go unchallenged. And if anyone has a problem with it, too fucking bad.

Why are you so bitter?

The fact is gay men and women have it much easier in almost every aspect of life than they did 1, 2, or 10 years ago. Progress is being made every day and your bitterness is not helping.

Do you find it that hard to believe that some people are turned off by two men kissing? How about two really ugly (heterosexual) people? How about a 90 year old women kissing (sexually) a 25 year old man? These things would disturb me too. I guess that makes me a bad person...

I'm not ungrateful. I actually do realize that I have many more freedoms... light years ahead of what gays and lesbians had in the past. To be out and visible with my partner 30 or 40 years ago was unthinkable.
