I was wondering if there is any risk of erectile tissue damage or dependence from frequent Cialis or Viagra use. I dose Cialis frequently to be sure that I can easily handle all the sex the my gf and I have. At up to 2 hours at a time and up to 5 times a day, it can be a challenge to keep up.
Given the dearth of responses I think it might be better to ask for personal experience of long term problems. Last I heard there wasn't enough long term data to come to a good conclusion medically speaking especially if you are wondering what might happen much later in life after cessation of use.
I have used Viagra and/or cialis now for at least a year. I average using it maybe once or twice a week at a dose of no more than 25mg Viagra or 20 mg Cialis. I have noticed no signs of dependence.
I think actual erectile tissue damage is possible, but that risk can be lessened by using the minimum effective dose for your body. You might also possibly consider the actual hard on's themselves. If it is painfully hard (as viagra can be sometimes if you take too much), then I just say you taking an unnecessary risk that you are not rewarded for.
