Has anybody here done this?

I'm relatively new to it, I kind of got started toward the end of last year. Before this, I had only taken naked pictures of girls I had been dating.

The girl I have been seeing for a while now is pretty kinky and she was actually the one who started filming us messing around. We both have digital cameras with a video recording mode. Hers is surprisingly good quality (brand new Sony Cybershot). The thing is, when you set the camera down, you can't get good angles. You only get one point of view, then you have to stop and get up and move it if you want to change. And with the one angle, even when it's pointed at the bed, you have to fit in the "filming box." When you hold the camera in one hand the sex isn't as good and the camera moves around a lot so the video isn't fantastic either.

We have tried both. The only position that seems to work when the camera is in hand is doggy style. With the camera sitting down, we have only tried filming from the front with her facing the camera (doggy style as well). This was actually pretty hot in my opinion. We talked about setting the camera down from the back, under pointing upward if I were to do standing doggy, and I could switch between her two holes . We haven't done this yet though. Not exactly sure how it would work. I guess I could have a setup on a chair beside my bed since my bed is raised about 2.5-3ft off the ground, but I don't know what I could use to point the camera upward since it's a thin Cybershot.

I guess what I'm really asking is for anyone who's ever done this sort of thing to share their experiences and any tips.

Asking someone to film us is not an option either.

How about doggy with the cam on the floor below you...the floor is solid so it shoudln't cause a problem with camera movement....and you would get ideal footage of your cock penetrating her....this sounds real good to me.

Yeah I've made a couple but had the problem and thats really what caused me to stop.More annoying then anything.So Now we just take whatever pix we can and occasionly do the camera but me holding always,so you get it from my angle only.But hey you can't have everything,ya know.

The thing about this is that my floors are all carpeted, and she would probably get rug burn if we do this. We could use a comforter, but I think in general, if we are on the floor, the floor is going to move, therefore the camera will tip over. Her camera wouldn't be able to just stand up on the carpet to begin with. It's really thin and therefore hard to prop on a surface that isn't completely flat, but then you get the fixed angle that only points straight ahead. Here are some pictures of her Cybershot:



The friend filming it is not really an option. I wouldn't even know how to go about asking, and it would sound very planned out, therefore she would more than likely get pissed at me for the suggestion.

Funny story about this... I got my first opportunity to have a three to five-some about a year ago with an ex and one to three of her girl friends. The whole idea came about when my ex, who had just moved back to California, asked me to make a sex tape with her when she was going to come and visit with some friends. I joked that we wouldn't be able to get any good angles if we made it ourselves and just set the camcorder down, so it was suggested that one of her friends could film it. Then I semi-jokingly said it would be weird for her friend, maybe she should get in on it so it'd make her feel more comfortable. Initially, the ex was uncomfortable with the idea and didn't want to share and didn't want to "do anything" with her friends. But she ended up talking to several of her friends (who were coming to see me with her) and they were game. Long story short, I started seeing my current girl 2-3 weeks before the ex was supposed to visit and the ex flipped out and we ended up no longer on speaking terms anymore, so the video never happened.

The thing with my current girlfriend is that I don't want to share her with anyone else. Not only am I not attracted to any of her friends and being that seeing them again would be very awkward for me, I feel like she is the more "serious" than "fun" type of relationship for me. The only reason I would have done it with my ex (when I was single) was because they were all from California, and I would probably never see them again. Or if I saw them again it might end up being a replay of what we were going to do, which would have been cool with me had I never met my current girlfriend.

I meant lay it flat on ground so its pointing up at your business....like have it laying with the lens pointing up from between your legs/her legs. Once in position you can get a nice close up of the doggy action.

I'm surprised we don't see any of these around. In high school I remember a friend telling me a local porn shop would buy your homemade pornos, but I don't know if that's true. Plus quality control would probably be pretty lax (not just talking about the film quality but the "talent" as well). I think the cameras and crew may make couples nervous. I think if random strangers were filming me having sex and I knew it was going to be published on DVD, I would be nervous.

My friend Jodi and his wife bought a swing and a camera with a tripod that they could put anywhere around the bed....they were able to get awesome angles with the swing and the tripod let them have shots from all over....

Also get a Kama Sutra video and learn new positions so you can get more revealing angles...

Is the swing for the girl or for the camera? I don't know if I could get away with installing a sex swing in my bedroom . I don't want anything that looks too "planned;" it might scare the girlfriends. A tripod could be a good investment if it was adjustable in height (do they have collapsable tripods?). Now that I think of it, I have seen mini tripods for cameras, which would go great for that angle i was talking about earlier (doggy style with the camera in the back, under us, pointing upward).

Your going to have to get a quality video camera and learn some basic computer editing skills. Then you are going to have to have multiple sex sessions in the same place, at different times, using different positions...ect

When you dump the footage onto hard-drive and start editing the only ones who'll know you didn't shoot it at the same time is you and your girl. It would help outputting the video cam to a TV while your shooting so you can see the proper angles while your shooting. That way you can position yourselves to get the best shots.

With the TV showing the realtime output you can quit worrying about where to position the camera and instead position yourselves vis-a-vis the camera for the best angles.

After the edit the group of scenes shot at different times should have continuity, if you payed attention to detail, to look like one long scene. But your not going to get it done with a crummy little cam like that.

This is all very good info and rather clever. The video quality from the Sony CyberShot isn't so bad, but it's def not great quality. I had considered borrowing a video camcorder from a friend (I had in the past for other things). In fact, I may be able to get two or more at one time.
