Yea, and the DARE program prevented kids from getting into drugs and alcohol too.. I don't buy it.

I remember the people who were in SADD(students against drunk driving) in highschool. They were the biggest drinkers of the lot.
China and India did that too.

I think it could work as long as they approach kids honestly.
"Hey kids, we know that you are thinking about sex constantly at your age. There is nothing wrong with that, in fact it is biology. You are thinking about exactly what nature intended you to think about. Sex is not evil or immoral. You should not feel guilty about these feelings you are having. The truth is, sex can be a beautiful thing, but sex can be very dangerous. There are STDs that can ruin the rest of your life going around. If you are a female and you get pregnant at an early age, you life that you know is over, and you will have to adapt to a new life of less fun, little or no partying, heavy responsibility, and long stressful days. If you are a male, you will have to get use to working hard to pay child support for the next 18 years. Most of what you make will be taken out of your paycheck and you may never financially recover.
Raising a child can be a beautiful and rewarding thing, but you need to be financially stable and emotionally mature. At your age now, you are neither.
Also, the best reason to wait is to experience the best sex imaginable. That is the sex you have when you wait for the right person and you have a strong emotional connection with that person. Waiting to have sex with a person that you truly love is probably one of the greatest experiences known to human kind. It is worth waiting for.
But, if you just can't wait, you must use protection. Birth control alone is not good enough. Use contraceptives and birth control. A few minutes of fun is not worth the rest of your life. Think before you risk everything. Treat the act of sex with respect."
Sure, many would think what I just said is bullshit, but I think it is world's better than no sex-ed or the typical scare tactics type of sex-ed.
“I used to do drugs. I still do drugs. But I used to, too.”

No, Kelju that is spot on. Thats exactly the truth of it.
And anyway, as i recall the first time certainly wasnt even a few minutes fun...
