my son isn't circumcised and some touching at a younger age was just what the doctor suggested, working to separate the foreskin from the head. she actually told me to do it but i think that was not right, i just told him to try n keep really clean and being able to pull the foreskin back would help with that. years later he casually mentioned he could clean under all of his foreskin now.

sexual touching probably doesn't happen in earnest till around ten. Tyler says about 15. he's 11 now. my dad just made lighthearted comments to let us know it's natural rather than have a too serious embarrassing conversation too early.

It's natural Jodi, nothing at all against you. He is probably more comfortable around you, than you are with him. Don't let things like this bother you in the least. Tyler just turned 11 and met his new dr at his yearly physical. there was NO WAY he was going to let her look at his penis. it became a tugging match for the medical gown. i said "well maybe that can wait till your a bit more comfortable" the Dr said she'd wait till another visit but she would need to examine him eventually. when she left the room i asked "what do you think she could say to a boy to make him not so nervous about that part of the exam?" Tyler thought a couple seconds and said "I'm not going to jack you off if that makes you feel any better."
