Hi I am 19! I have been married for a year! I have been off birthcontrol since March 2008. I have been trying to have a baby since July 08. My last period was June 08. I have took at least 5 pregnancy test and they all say Negative. Could I still be pregnant? What's the best position to be in to get pregnant?

It is not uncommon for a woman coming off BC to not be able to get knocked up for 6 months to a year. I wouldnt' say that is typical, but I wouldn't say it is odd either.

If you are with a guy that juices then it might not be you...it is most likely him, or more likely him especially if he does longer cycles, or doesn't PCT properly.

Best position to get pregnant. I think you can in any of them, but I would think a position that keeps the semen inside of you longer would increase the odds...This might sound odd, and by no means coming from a doctor...but if I was the man trying to put the bun in the oven my plan would be...

Well I think we have done it ever way possible. LOL I just dont understand why I'm not having a period if I'm not pregnant! I have never missed a period befor this is the first time. Every pregnancy test I take says negative. I dont understand! Neither one of us have any kids so were new at trying to make a baby.

QUIT STRESSING. You have not had your period because of the stress. They recommend that you be off of Birth Control twice as long as you were on it before trying to make babies...just keep practicing.

There are also some free online ovulation calendars you can use to increase your chances.

this should open the eyes of other females who take it for unsafe sex, for ease of knowing when your time is, or to help with cramps. I am sure many women on birth control for years end up with complications. I personally wouldn't want my girl on it. I'd rather be safe, or have a healthy child.

All my opinions aside I hope you and your husband have a healthy baby soon, or at least end up getting the damn thing started. Don't give up. It will happen God willing.

Not sure if this has been posted already, sorry if it has. My girlfriend came off BC and boy did it fuck with her timing. I dont think she had a period for a good two months ATLEAST. I talked to another girl at work because I was worried she was pregnant, however, the girl told me that when she stopped taking it her period was all fucked up aswell.

So it could just be from coming off the BC.
