I can go much longer without it, but I think it starts to effect my moods, and I end up having so many errections in a day I can't go out in public without fear of making a scene.

But lets face it sex is something that becomes less on your mind when you have an overload of life's stresses to deal with. Even more so when you are single and deal with them alone. So I'd say your current life situation tends to change things. For me it does anyways.
