The Mets could use a few new players while the Yankees are set at infield for a few years.

I hope the Jays can resign Scutaro.
I would like Barajas as well. Just nice to have his pop, even though his batting average sucks balls.
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

Scutaro is definitely a keeper, Barajas is OK I guess...how is he in handling the pitchers?

He does an ok job behind the plate. Nothing spectacular.
I can't even tell you the last time we had a good catcher.

I think it would be a crime if the Yankees add another all star to their team.
Right now they are set a infield. It's the outfield they may change. |

God I hope they dont sign anyone for their OF! They are ridiculous in the infield right now. By far the best infield in the past 10 years, maybe ever. They are stacked! Their outfield is average, but Swisher has been dissapointing this postseason, normally I like him though. They WILL make a bid on Holliday. I am still wondering why the Cards gave up a stud 3rd baseman for him? I mean come on they got 1/2 year outa him. Ya he was awesome, but you just gave up what could be a franchise player for him.
Also I am wondering what the Cards are going to do at 3rd base? I sure hope they resign Derosa. I think Glaus could be a huge pickup for a few teams, if he stays healthy that is. Remember we got Glaus from Toronto for Rolen on Rolens decline. |

I did have my doubts about that till they had people compare their infield past and present....no one could come up with a better one. Swisher has been hot and cold throughout the year, what he does bring to the plate is a good eye and he's a switch hitter...it just seems like he's always swinging for the fences. He isn't that good as an outfielder but he can play first. |

The Cards could use more hitters....they need a one two punch in the lineup.
Pujols can't do it all. |

That is why the Holliday trade looked good, but if its just for a half a year it turns out to be a real bad trade. They need to spend some time getting someone for next year if they cannot resign him. If fans can sway a person into staying I think the fans that were at the game following the night after he booted the ball and costed them a playoff game he may have been persuaded that night. Just depends how badly he wants that BIG contract.....

I would forget about that mistake he made, he's still a good player.

• Ranks 3rd in AL in HR (36)
• Ranks 2nd in AL in RBI (119) • Ranks 6th in AL in R (103) • Ranks 3rd in AL in BB (94) • Ranks 10th in AL in SLG (.537) • Ranks 9th in AL in OPS (.921) 33 years old, can play under pressure, clutch and Yankees take away a weapon from Boston. Would be a good move. |

I wonder what they are going to do with Damon and Matsue?
Neither can really play the outfield and right now we they intend on moving Posada to DH in a year or two. |
