Baseball Hall of Fame broadcaster Peter Gammons leaving ESPN
Who is going to take his place as the Red Sox cheerleader?
Peter Gammons is out at ESPN.
The end of his 20-year run at the network was announced Tuesday. The curtain will officially come down following the winter meetings in Indianapolis.
"My decision to leave ESPN and move on at this point in my life has been conflicted," Gammons said. "I owe a great deal of my professional life to ESPN having spent more than half of my 40 years in journalism working for the network, and the choice to move on was made with nothing but the strongest feelings for the people with whom I worked."
You know after all these years I finally noticed that the Sox is spelled differently.
Wow...I wonder if I ever spelled it like that during school....I really need to stop paying any mind to that damn team.
