well I agree with you - HOWEVER, they already opened this can of worms and the dummy lied. time to close this case and throw his butt in jail.

This is BS! Roger Clemens should tell Congress to F-off. Congress is full of crooks! Look at all of the Bullshit laws that were passed the past 18 months. So what if Clemens used roids! Nobody really cares! The F-in steriods laws in this country are stupid.

I agree there are more important things the gubmit can spend their time and money on, but the Feds are trying to protect Congress and send a message that they are not to be lied to. They see Clemens as a good person to make an example out of. Personally, I don't care what happens to him...innocent or guilty, IDGAF...I just enjoy the drama.

He should have just said nothing at all.

They wouldn't have had him on anything then... but because he lied about steroid use they throw him in the pen. Same ish happened to Marion Jones.

Just keep your mouth shut and you will always be good to go.

I agree. He was a fool to lie. His arrogance got in the way of his common sense. He was warned before he appeared-whatever you do, don't lie. He appeared voluntarily. All of this could have been avoided.

Roger Clemens is a great man and I only wish to grow up to be half the man he is

he had the option to not say anything at all during the hearings.....he chose to lie instead....Mark McGuire seems to be the only one who was smart enough to keep his mouth shut (although later he cracked....at least it wasn't while under oath)

Roger Clemens was one of the most hard-assed, hard-nosed, never-quit pitchers who ever played the game; was a dominating power pitcher who showed more cojones than any politician since Margaret Thatcher, and those hypocritical, low-life mealy mouthed lying ward heelers are going after him?
