Who's it gonna be? WS 2002...

Here we are.. Nearing the end of the season once again. I am usually on top of things as my actual initials spell out MLB
But for some reason I haven't been quite as attracted to the sport as usual.. mainly cuz my home team sux huge azz (Toronto Blue Jays)
For those of you that have kept up this season what do you think the standings for a World Series championship would be... Seems like the Yanks have stepped down quite a bit.. Will it be Arizona for the second year? Gimme your perspective on the World Series.. just for a small update

    The Padres!! LOL, JK.

I'd like to see the D-Backs for AL and the A's for NL in WS 2002. Besides, I haven't been following it much since football season has started. The reason for the baseball strike a couple months ago sorta killed the thrill for it this season, for me anyway.

the angels and twins are nice stories but don't seem to have enough to play with the big boys.

with the lost of gonzo, arizona is punchless...but in a five game series they are dangerous because of the BIG2.....it'll be tough for them to win a 7-game series.

SF lacks a strong rotation...and there's alway bond's struggles during the post-season...will not make it past the 1st rd.

STL looks like a serious threat to win it all...only if they didn't play ARI in the first rd.

the A's have an outstanding rotation with hudson, mulder, and zito...but the team is still young....might win it all in a few years.

i'll go out on a limb and say it will be the yankees and braves in 2002's BIG SHOW.

    and the winner is........who else..........YANKEES!!!

My brain tells me there is no reason the Yankees won't win another title.

I'd like to see the Giants and anyone besides the Yankees.

Damn you MG. It's your fault the Bad News Bears, I mean New York Yankees lost. You jinxed them. Now I have to listen to all the local Red Sox fans dump on the Yankees for another year. And I thought last year's last game loss was tough to take.
