i think he will leave but the nets are seeming th emost intrested he wants to go to new york but denver is asking for a 1st round pick and 5 players from ther knicks and i dont think they are willin to giv up danillo gaslinari and raymond felton freo carmel, i mean he is a good closer but im not sure he is a lebron james caliber player, but i dont watch much of his games

i agree and it's causing too much distraction for the Nuggets. i just wish they'd get it over and done with, one way or another

top 5 to me will be lebron, durant, kobe, wade, and drrickl rose/ rajon rondo wade has carried the heat ever since shaq left i know they havent done much in the playoffs but watching wade is phenomenal i look at it like this if a player was to leave there current team how would they do? like lebron leaving cleveland and now look at them how many teams could survive with out therer star player

I still think he'll end up on the Knicks. The Nets have what the Nuggets want, but Carmelo wants to be a Knick and I think the Knicks will overpay to get him once they are pushed.

ESPNRadio this morning compared him to Dominique Wilkins...a great scorer, but one dimensional and not a leader.

Anthony=No defense at all. Strictly a one-trick pony. Good comparison.

FoxSports reporting (via another source) that the Nets and Nuggets have reached a deal.

Report: Carmelo Anthony may go to New Jersey Nets in multiplayer deal - NBA News | FOX Sports on MSN

If Anthony agrees, the Nets will get Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Sheldon Williams, Melvin Ely and Renaldo Balkman from the Nuggets. In turn, the Nets will send Devin Harris, Derrick Favors, Troy Murphy, Ben Uzoh and four first-round picks to Denver, The Record reports.
Four first round picks? Are you shitting me? HEY CLEVELAND....wish you traded Lebron?

the Nets are still not a contender with Melo but the Knicks with Stoudemier and Melo are very good so i think the Knicks are a better choice but who knows. Melo has some crazy range for a tall dude, not quite Dirk range but pretty damn close.

As a Knick fan I would trade the entire team minus Stoudemier to get Melo.

Melo is top 5 in the NBA. best clutch player if you research, He is fire in the clutch, pure scorer. I think he will end up with the New York Knicks one way or the other, all this drama is just to fuck with peoples head. Melo with the knicks makes the NBA much more interesting, its all about the money.

He will be a wasted talent if he ended up with the Nets... and this is coming from a guy in NJ. Bunch of losers will drag him to their levels. He's better off with the Knicks with Stoudemier. They'll be just one superstar away from really contending.

    And Chauncey Billups.

With Stoudemire, Melo, and Billups, Knicks might have something going here. They're definitely better than they were before.
