It was a no brainer. Superstar wanted to go to the New York knicks since the Start of the season. He made no secret about it, Denver did was right move by trading him otherwise they would had lost him via free agency anyways.

I bet that one hurts with the knicks fans, Danillo Gallinari no longer a knick. The man had game.

'Bout time this got done. Now the Knicks needs to save some cap space for Chris Paul in 2012.

Why Dolan continues to allow Isiah to have a say in the day-to-day operations of the New York Knicks is beyond me...

As far as the trade goes, they had to make it. But I'm not sure it guarantees them a Championship like Aids Johnson seems to think. A lot has to fall their way for an all offense/no defense minded Carmelo and Stoudemire to lead their team to the promise land...

Typical New York though... All hype.

Although a Celtics fan, I think the Knicks should go after Rip Hamilton and un-retire Sheed! LMAO!!!

I like this trade... I hope it works out for Melo!

The Knicks are gonna be like the Suns a few years back. All that scoring talent but nothing else. The East still belongs to the Heat and Celtics.

I don't think that will happen until he becomes a free agent. You see, he's got the "go elsewhere" syndrome ala Shaq. Can't win the title there, so skadaddle to a team that needs him as a final piece to win that championship. Or, he will end up like Patrick Ewing!

I agree i dont beleive the celtics totally lost in the trade as green is a solid forward but i beleive that OKC now has a good defensive player to play along durant andwestbrook

Can't believe the Celtics gave up Perkins, very solid center. Shaq and Jermaine O Neil are both injured, what the hell are they going to do in the playoffs.

I think they'll pick someone up from somewhere. Imagine if they were able to Igudola. Rip is nuts thinking about money and now he stuck in Detroit. He would've been a good fit in Boston. As for the defensive structure.... they could almost get by. If LA gets back to the finals...... does anyone from the east have a defensive three to go against LA's three of Gasol, Bynum and Odom. Adding also, Ratliff.
