It is really pissing me off how bad the Flyers have been recently. A team with the amount of talent that they have should not be getting their asses handed to them by shitty teams. Toronto and the Pens both kicked their asses. WTF.
sorry I just had to vent.

and it doesn't help that John Leclair hurt his shoulder last night. They are saying if it's dislocated, he could be out least a month. NOT GOOD.

Maybe the Flyers are not as good as you think they are. Most of their talent were in their prime 5 years ago with the exception of a few. The Flyers will look older as the season nears end, not what you wanted to hear seyone but a reality.

I really hope that is not the case. Look at what Detroit did last season with a lot of old players and Yserman on one leg. With the Flyers even the younger players aren't doing anything. I think they need to shake this team up a bit.

From ESPN.com: "The Flyers could be close to acquiring G Chris Osgood from the Islanders in exchange for D Dan McGillis and prospect Pavel Brendl, several Canadian-based sources reported. "

ARE YOU FUQIN' SHITTIN' ME???

We don't need a goalie, Ceckmanek has just about the lowest GAA in the league. We need GOALS!!!!!

Alright, you're gonna get Osgood!!! Your defense better start playing tighter, because Osgood will let bombs from behind the red line get past him.

I agree, goalteding is not the problem right now. I think the Flyers have to trade one of their big named forwards to shake them up and get the most out of the rest of hte team.

That's the other thing that's bothering me, why Brendl? No, he's not lighting up the scoreboard but every game I've seen he's been right there in the thick of things. And if they're gonna shop a defenseman, why Dan McGillis? We need to get younger. As much as I like Eric Desjardan it makes more sense to shop him instead of McGillis.

At least he's got the POTENTIAL to score goals. How many tallies does Osgood have? Ron Hextall's the last goalie I remember scoring a goal. ( A Flyer, I might add.)

I agree with you on Brendl, he has come a long way and still has a lot of room to grow and become a pretty good player in the NHL. I really like McGillis, he is one of the best hitters on the team and he can move the puck and skate fairly well. I really don't like Desjardins that much. I think he has played much better this season that in the past couple of years but he is getting old and I would like to see him get moved before he has little or no value in a trade.

The San Jose Sharks traded defenseman Marcus Ragnarsson to the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday for defenseman Dan McGillis.

I hope it will help, McGillis hasn't been having his best year and it seems to be the Flyers system that he is having trouble with. Maybe this change will be enough to spark the rest of the team to play.

Philly sports teams always choke in the clutch. I gave up on the Flyers years ago when Detroit keep stopping them in the playoffs. I don't know why with the talent that they have they can never get it together...
