Free pass for steroid users during NFL lockout

Free pass for steroid users during NFL lockout
    by Anthony Roberts

One of the little-known facts of the current NFL lockout is that all drug testing has been suspended. That’s right boys and girls, all of your favorite NFL players can, at this very moment, be going buck f*cking wild with all of the steroids they want. At the moment, they are not officially under contract with the NFL or their respective teams, which means they’re under absolutely no obligation to adhere to any of the policies set forth by either of them.

As long as they avoid the stuff that remains in the system for several months, they’re pretty much free to do whatever they want – massive doses of testosterone, Anadrol, Anavar, Winstrol, Masteron, Dianabol, etc…as long as they avoid stuff like Trenbolone and Nandrolones, we could be talking about players showing up to training camp with a 4-5 month cycle under their belts, looking a lot bigger and stronger. It’ll be interesting to see who shows up to the preseason with a suspicious 10-20 extra lbs of muscle, and a predictable story about working hard despite the lockout.

It also means that Ricky Williams is probably baked out of his mind at this moment, as is 30-70% of the NBA (*statistics compiled on marijuana use by The Rocky Mountain News and The New York Times have estimated marijuana use in the NBA to be anywhere from 30-70%, respectively).

Both the NBA and NFL are likely to adopt a one month amnesty period on all drug testing after their respective lockouts end, so that means even if the lockout ended today, players would have had 4 months to cycle almost any drug under the sun, and would be coming off now…still plenty of time to use HCG and other goodies that would restore their endocrine system prior to the season.

Have any players taken advantage of the free pass on drug testing? I have no idea…but it’s a pretty sure bet that the past steroid users will most likely seize the opportunity to get a nice long cycle into their system before the lockout ends. And I don’t blame them; with the kind of money they earn for a single game, it behooves them to exhaust every possible opportunity to

Wait a second? Is the NBA not testing either because of the labor thing?
