Yes, you're absolutely correct, they won and it doesn't matter.

The problem is you saying they looked good. Teams that look good don't play down to their competition. Oakland was BLOWN OUT the past two games, so no they are not a good team and they were not going to make the playoffs. Don't you think that luck might have something to do with it?

If they make it to the playoffs then what? I would love to hear your take on how they will do.

Who was the last team the Lions played and beat with a winning record. They had to have a winning record when the two played.[/QUOTE]

i believe that was the aaron rodgers-less packers last season which they won 9-6 lol

It was actually 7-3. I was there at the time.

Probably none with a winning record. But here is where you and I differ in our analysis. You seem to be looking at stats, how many rushing yards, what was the record of the team they have beaten, etc.. I am looking at a football team and wins. They are able to pull out wins and that is more important than the record of your opponent or your rushing yards.

Bottom line they play with heart and win games even though statistically they aren't the best.

If they make it to the playoffs they have just as good a shot as winning the game as the other team, that's why they play the game. Some people were ready to start the parade in Green Bay week 10.

Ok Bro, they're in so what's your take this week against GB and who do you think they match up well against in the playoffs? It's going to be one of three: Dallas, NY Giants or the Saints, all on the road.

PS - Stafford was throwing darts on Christmas Eve.

Well against Green Bay it will hopefully be third stringers out there so I don't care what happens as long as stafford doesn't get injured. He was lights out against a great San diego team.

In the playoffs I think we will win round one against Dallas or the Giants, Saints would be a shootout but I don't know who will win.

I hope it's Dallas, I think they are one of the weakest teams in the playoffs and Homo's fingernail is bruised or something so he will have an excuse to throw a few picks.
