Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez Tonight

Who does everyone like ? I watched the first two and still give the first fight to Marquez. I think Pacquiao is in his prime now and Marquez is on the down side of his. I think Marquez has all the heart in the world but i dont see him winning this fight.

Hard to give the first fight to Marquez. Three knockdowns in the first round means Pac had a 10-6 round right off the bat. I don't think Marquez fought well enough to overcome that large a deficit the rest of the way. The fact that he fought as well as he did, considering Pac-Man also broke his nose in the first round was incredible, but I think he clearly lost the fight. Tonight, I hope it is at least competitive, but I don't think Marquez has a chance.

Marquez dominated the fight tonight. Just a terrible decision. Manny got beat, plain and simple.

This decision was made as a sad attempt to try and save boxing by teasing us with a Mayweather vs Pac-man fight some more...

I have to agree 100%. Marquez dominated this fight. I admit i didnt think he would pull it off but after watching it i say he should have won. Boxing has to much to lose in a Pac-man s Mayweather fight. I bet there will be a fourth fight among them.

Why would Marquez want a fourth fight? Its obvious that its not going to be ruled fair, I can tell you from the first 2 fights it was pure controversy. Now with this 3rd fight its was clear Marquez was victorious.

Hope he doesn't retire. Although he had looked shot his last few fights, especially against Mayweather, what Marquez was able to accomplish last night was momentous. To fight, at 38 years old, a near-perfect fight against incredible odds was beyond comprehension. He looked like he did 10 years ago last night. Truly remarkable achievement. Fuck the judges, he was amazing.

Strange how some fighters get old overnight. Could be he just had a bad night, but he may well be done as a fighter. Then again, Marquez came back after several very marginal performances and fought like a young champion again. I guess we'll find out with the next fight. Lot of other great fighters out there these days. Ton of talent in the middle weight classes.

Pacquiao is not done, I seriouslyt think Marquez is Pacquiaos kryptonite. His style just doesn't favor pac man at all, boxing is all about styles of fighting.

Exactly.....Look at Shane Mosley , Lost to Vernon Forrest as an amature then twice in the pros. People Mosely has beat have beat Forrest... Styles make fights.

Yes, and Ricardo Mayorga destroyed Forrest. And im %100 sure Mosley would have a field day with Mayorga. All about styles mang .

Exactly......Sept 27th 2008 Sugar Shane knocked out Ricardo Mayorga and Your right Mayorga had his way with Forrest.

Another funny thing is how a fighter is promoted. Take Forrest for instance , he beat Mosely as an amature and as a pro but didnt have half the money fights Mosley had.

Man I love pac man I have never rooted against him and never will but marquez won.. Manny was either off that night and followed the game plan which wasn't working and didn't want to risk getting knocked down or Marquez just has his number I was shocked actually good job marquez

I don't think Pac-man is done either, but you never know in boxing. Guys can get old overnight. Marquez does seem to give Manny stylistic problems, but I must admit that I was very shocked at how well Marquez fought, especially considering how he came up in weight, and his age. I think switching over to Nacho as his trainer was a brilliant move. No doubt about styles of fighting making matches. If it wasn't for the lousy decision, it would have been a perfect night of boxing.

Pac man definately loss the fight. I've read articles however that said statisically Marquez lost the fight. It stated he threw less punches and was less accurate. One article even stated a theory that Pacman didn't just knock Marquez out, bc Mayweather would be even more scared to fight him afterwards lol

this gave me a good laugh . Even the average boxing fan can see how one sided the fight was. It was total domination, Pac man had no answers. 0. Nada. Finito.

He didn't fight Pacman to win, he fought him for money. The judges are just setting up the Pac Merriweather fight
