Rusty's quest for a set of Golf Clubs......

Well, for those of you that have read about my quest for a set of Golf clubs know that I've been bidding on a couple of set off of e-bay. That place is evil. I got outbid again. Oh well.............Saturday morning the Wife and I set out to hit some garage sales. After about 3 Hours of driving around and stopping at every garage sale in site, I hit the jackpot..............

I found a sale that had 4 bags of clubs.......Bag-1 had just about every driver you could imagine. I found a Big Bertha "Warbird". Bag-2 had just about every putter you could imagine. I didn't get a putter. Bag-3 had just about every wedge you could imagine. I didn't get anything from that bag. Bag-4 had a complete set of Mizuno Forged Irons with steel Rifle shafts. The set was marked $100.00. I went to the little lady running the garage sale with the set of Irons and the Driver in hand and asked if she'd take $50.00 for the lot. She said yes and here we are........All I need now is a Sand Wedge, Putter and a bag. And some where down the line I'd like to get a 5-wood.

    Lucky Me...........

Every Item I bid on with e-bay, I'd get out bid within the last 1-min. And these people pay to much for shit. I feel that e-bay has lost it's veracity.....

HE HE........OH, and the best part. They are damn near new. Hardley no wear on them at all. The shafts have absolutly no scratches on them at all. And one of the Irons looks like it's never been hit.

Good job on the find dude. Now your point of emphasis will be trying not to throw those nice set of clubs into the lake out of frustration because you can't hit over it.
