Predictions for Rookie of the Year (NBA)

Who do you think is gonna turn out to be next year's Rookie of the Year?

My vote's on Carmelo Anthony. Who else is gonna demand any of the ball in Denver? He could drop 30 a night if he wants to.

And he showed some serious game in the tournament this year.

I am kind of anti-Lebron, not b/c he doesn't have game, but b/c he is just a kid, a kid that hasn't proven shit yet and still people are just handing him shit left and right on a silver platter. A $90mill contract is fuckin obscene for anyone much less an 18 yr old kid. This is what the hell is wrong with sports today. What ever happened to putting in years of hard work to earn repect. Not to say that if I was in his shoes I would turn down that cash b/c I wouldn't. It is just fucked up, any one else feel me?

yea i know what your talking about, thats why i voted for carmelo anthony. i hope the nba changes some rules so drafted players have at least 19years (for foreign players), or have played at least 1 or 2 years of college basketball.

I'm waiting to see what happens with TJ Ford...he really emerged last year as a force in the NCAA, and it will be interesting to see if he can step it up in the majors.

LeBron is already hurting after the summer season...he's going to need two or three years before he emerges.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

Yeah.. I don't think TJ's going anywhere in Milwaukee. The word is he still can't shoot and the Bucks are trying to do a full team rebuild.. Chicago Bulls style.

And yeah Darko played some pro ball for some small town in Serbia, but that level of competition is nowhere near what Carmelo's been through. He played for the top High School team in the U.S and then took on everyone in the NCAA and kicked ass..
