He very well may be innocent, if he is I dearly hope that things work out in his best interest. If he's guilty, then he deserves what the court gives him.

One thing, we have to remember is that adultry is a common thing in today's society..it isnt right but it does happen.....

Why are people having a hard time believing that Kobe just had sex with this girl and didnt force himself upon her?

Why cant they believe that there are decent stars out there that are down to earth and dont view themselves above others, that blled blood red just as we do, and know they are human as everyone else?

Kobe could be in the room thinking "hell she's watching a movie with me, we're alone, she wants it". She could be in the room thinking "oh my God, i'm hanging out with Kobe Bryant", not necessarily "i wanna fuck Kobe". My point is that all of us have been fooled into thinking that a girl likes us when she is just being friendly or whatever. We know they had sex, it could have been Kobe thinking it's consensual and she's just another groupie, while at the same time she's scared because he's being real aggressive, she doesn't want to have sex, she's resisting, yet he's famous and charming.

what i'm trying to say is that this isn't necessarily a case of one person lying about what happened. Read the article by Phil Taylor on www.cnnsi.com about how athletes and their lack of exposure to women that aren't groupies view women as chicks that wanna fuck them or chicks that wanna fuck them but don't know it yet.

She could have been scared out of her mind but still had sex, while he may not have even noticed her fear or did and was still aggressive-viewing it as passivity or a challenge, hence you have two different views of what happened.

and most rape cases aren't reported immediately. As rape is a crime of power, not passion, it has a humiliating effect on the woman. My buddy supposedly fooled around with a chick after she had passed out and when she woke up, according to her, he was pulling out. She didn't report it for a couple weeks. All of a sudden a cop shows up and he's charged.

i absolutely loathe rapists and if he is guilty, i hope Kobe takes the full brunt of the law, if only as an example to the society.

Although, I know that if I did what Koby did (adultery), and tried to calm the waters at home with a big diamond ring, the missus would take it and say "May I see that diamond, oh, you shouldn't have" and with the ring in her possession she'd say "Get the f*** out of my house you lousy, ....... There was another good article on cnnsi.com today about Kobe's bodyguards, or lack thereof. It's written based on an interview with Dennis Rodman's old security team, basically saying that if his bodyguards were doing their job properly then this never would have happened. You can check it out:

this bitch is crazy, she has lost all credibility. We find out that she has been in and out of the hospital for mental problems, and on top of that all of her friends think she is full of it.

My two cents??? Who cares???

Basically, innocent until proven guilty. Anthing at this point is pure speculation. I have seen in other message boards and on TV people already deciding for themselves what happend and who did what, yet we know hardly anything. So-called "experts" on TV ramble on and on with nothing more than what ifs and maybes. I'm sick and tired of it. But, it will never end. Not until someone's life and reputation is ruined. Whether that be the girl or Kobe's, only time and a court trial will tell, not some jackass on CNN telling me what he/she thinks.
