he might well be But I love his attitude on the field come game day.
Chuck Norris once lost his keys and couldn't remember where he put them. So he tortured himself for half an hour until he gave up their location.

He's a piece of shit, I am glad he is no longer with the Denver Broncos, and he should be expelled from the NFL.

I have not been watching much of the pre-season, but I believe he will do well. You have to remember he's not used to playing with a good team!

Yeah, who cares if he puts his own teammates on the injured list! A model NFL "teammate"...always doing what is best for the team.

I never liked Bill, and this incident does not surprise me at all. I always felt that he was a disgrace to the Broncos.

I agree, Prince. I don't like him either. It is one thing for a player to be a force on the field, but when his behavior hurts the team, he becomes a burden. Bryan Cox is another good example of that.

Whatever it is, do you think it was bad enough to warrant Romanowski breaking the guy's eye socket???

It's too bad that even if the idiot gets suspended he will still get paid. Hit him where it counts to him...in the pocketbook. Fines these days are a joke. If I was the coach I would release him, but then again, like was said he is still a damn good player.

Yeah, but up here in Colorado we're thinking Jake will do good now that he actually has receivers worth throwing too.

Based on the first posession of the game yesterday, no receiver would have mattered. You have to be able to hang on to the ball before you can throw the ball. lol But you guys can think what you want...dream on baby. lol

You can't base someones career on one play in a preseason game, besides did you see the long bomb for a TD that he had later, looked pretty good to me.

LMAO! You need to go back and read the thread a little closer man. I am far from basing my opinion on one preseason came. I live in AZ and saw that crap all the time. And yes, it was a long TD, although it was a better catch than it was a throw.

Bill Romanowski's list of dumb things

In 1989, he leveled then-teammate Jerry Rice on the 49ers' practice field during training camp in Rocklin. The impact was so severe, offensive tackle Harris Barton attacked Romanowski in retaliation and both players threw punches.

In 1995, Romanowski -- who was then with the Philadelphia Eagles -- was fined $4,500 by the NFL for kicking Arizona Cardinals fullback Larry Centers in the head. In 1997, after joining the Denver Broncos, Romanowski broke Carolina Panthers quarterback Kerry Collins' jaw in two places during an exhibition game, drawing a $20,000 fine by the league.

Later that season, Romanowski was vilified nationally after he spit in the face of 49ers wide receiver J.J. Stokes. In 1998, Romanowski taunted Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kordell Stewart after a third-quarter interception during the AFC Championship Game, mocking Stewart by pointing to his head.

In 1999, Romanowski was fined $7,500 for an illegal hit on Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez; $10,000 for hitting Tampa Bay Bucs quarterback Trent Dilfer with his helmet; $10,000 for punching Gonzalez in the head; and $15,000 for a helmet-to-helmet shot on Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor. He also was fined an undisclosed amount that season for throwing a football at the crotch of Jets linebacker Brian Cox.

In August of 2000, Romanowski was indicted by a grand jury in Denver, Colo., on charges of illegally obtaining the prescription diet drug Phentermine. He was acquitted of all charges.

In 2001, the year before Romanowski signed as a free agent with the Raiders, he was fined $7,500 for a late hit on Raiders tight end Roland Williams.

    Plus this latest incident.

I don't know about everyone else, but I can't help but laugh. He was fined for throwing a football at a guy's private area?
It's football, not golf or ballet. He probably had a little too much aggression clouding his judgment.problem off the field?certainly. on the field? Well, isn't the idea to win the game by any means necessary?either way He plays for my Raiders so I can't bash him.sorry guys

All I can say is that sometimes a good, even great player gets on the "wrong" team and they just do not do well. Once they get traded they become a great player on the new team... it happens all of the time.

Hey, we have professional sports in CT! They are just minor league. Oh yeah, and we have a WNBA team.

I am a St Louis Rams fan. Been a Rams fan since the late 70's.

Not everyone sits around their T.V. drooling over sports like some little girl at a Rick Springfield concert. lol

Why people give a shiat whether they have a team or not is beyond me. It amazes me to see people who cannot even pay their light bill, spending their paycheck to see these clowns. lol

An other note, if you call that winning, I'd love to see your definition of a loser.
