Iron Mike Tyson Signs with K-1

Former heavyweight boxing champion "Iron" Mike Tyson has officially signed with the K-1 organization for exclusive management and rights of refusal for Japan.

Mike Tyson may still compete in America, but can only fight in Japan in the K-1 organization. No word yet on when, where, or against whom he will first compete.

Sources inform Knockouts! that he could compete under boxing rules, kickboxing (K-1) rules, or even mixed martial arts.

Damned....didn`t know anyone cared or I coulda told you a long time ago...............oh well

This is the fight that set up Tyson in K-1

    http://www-scf.usc.edu/~raymondw/Sap...mo.8.15.03.mpg

Then Sapp ( 380lb with visable abs ) called out Mike....there was some shit in the ring ( Sapp tried to punch him ) and Tyson basically said he`d fight Sapp NOW.

Tyson has said he`ll only fight under boxing rules though, Sapp has said he`ll only fight under MMA rules.

However.........K-1 fighters Crocop ( recently fought Sapp and KO`d him halfway though round 1 with a single punch that broke his orbital bone and deflated his eye.....required surgury ) and LeBanner ( big mofo full of gear and fucking HARD assed puncher ) have said they want to fight him under any rules.

A couple of pix....not much here though....

I know he is a bastard and I hate what he stands for....but I am ashamed to say that I would pay to watch him compete in K-1.

    Anyone else?

I'd pay ... and as long as he doesn't get taken to the ground, he'll be a force to be reckoned with. If he learns a some ground manoveurs, it will be interesting to see Tyson's version of ground and pound.

There are many who have scowls and pretend to be angry, but Tyson is an angry person - period. And to add to he toughness, he's a bit crazy. I'll keep tracking this to see what becomes of it. His personal life is a mess, but inside the ring, he can still be a force.

I happen to like Tyson a bit, I at least think he gets ragged on a little too much. I know he is an idiot and I don't condone his actions at all, but we tend to lose perspective on things sometimes and judge people irrationally, my 2 cents.

You think people are judging him harshly and irrationally? Are you kidding?? He has done some stupid and horrible things. His actions are unexcusable. He is a great fighter...he is NOT a good person.

    Sheeesshh.

I didn't say he was a good person, I just said that I feel bad for him in some situations that is all. He is an idiot, he has just been taken advantage of his whole life by everyone he has known. I am not condoning his actions by any means.

think of all the money Don King sucked out of him....
Chuck Norris once lost his keys and couldn't remember where he put them. So he tortured himself for half an hour until he gave up their location.

OMG!!! That big ole dude whip the shit out of him, but NOT before he shook him up a bit in the first round...I thought that Sapp was going down. Seems if you get a couple of good punches to him he goes downhill pretty quick...just gotta beat him to the punch. WOW! Great fight...thanx Kuso!
