    World Cup

Friday the 10th of October, the Rugby Union World Cup starts. Wondering how many of you North Americans realised this??? It is the biggest sporting even in the world this year, expected television audience of around 4 billion for the opening game of Australia vs Argentina. 3rd biggest event in the world (Soccer World Cup first, then Olympics), but I doubt many of you would even have heard of Rugby??? Let alone get coverage.

    Am I wrong???

I love rugby...used to play in HS for a year. The problem over here is that coverage of these events usually sucks. There is no way to watch a game unless you stay up until 3AM. Maybe in the US it is different but in Canada it is tough to find good coverage.

Our women's team made it to the semi's of the World Cup of soccer last week...they put the frigging game on delay and showed it at 10:30 at night!
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

Wrong! Rugby is pretty big in Canada, not to sure about the States. We didn't send that great of a team but got screwed in our pool... Stuck with the All Blacks Shitty Luck!

Hey Ponyboy, I don't think it was on Tape delay the Game was played in Portland I think, which is 3 Hrs Difference for me at least.
