on another note, the fuckin mavs are gonna be incredible. obviously the lake show is awesome with Shaq, Kobe, GP and the mailman, but what about Dirk, Nash, Finley, Jamison and 'Toine, that's 5 all stars on 1 starting five!!!

    ya ok man,
cover him outside, he'll blow by you. play him loose, he'll bury the jumper. put a shorter guy, he'll bury the j, a taller guy, blown by. double team him, shit.......stab the fuckin guy 13 times and you still can't stop him. he could lead the nba in scoring this year, mark my words.

A.I. is good, i don't disagree, especially for his size. but to score he needs a million shots and then some, great shooting percentage.

Vince is back, Carmelo is great but LeBron James is overrated. I dont think Bron should be getting all the hype, i certainly think carmelo is way better. This is an interesting season to watch. The Raptors upset-ed the Nets if you know what i mean.

Vince was back with authority last night 39 points.

Lebron sure as heck didn't seem like an overrated player last night 25 points. Most points by a high school grad in his first game. He Played 40 mins and was phenominal. Too bad he is playing for a shitty team the Cavs

We are so many people hoping the kid fails?? Don't blame him for all the media hype and the money he is making. The NBA needs a fresh face to help shine a positive image on the league. I hope Lebron kicks major ass.

I am so god damn sick of Lebron James, howabout that stupid f'n commercial where he just stands there for a good 30 secs doing nothing, WTF. I know it isn't his fault but I am tired fo it and personally I think that it is irresponsible of the league to give this much attention to an 18 yr old. The league should not even be lettnig in kids that young, it is destroying the game, let aloneendorsing him the way they have. It is disgusting IMO.

On a light er note, Vince is the man, all you non believers are gonna watch him tear it up. One of the top three players in the league, better than Kobe IMO. His game is certainly more unselfish than Kobe's. Vinsanity baby!!

    Who are top 2?
Homer: Hey! I saved your life! That egg sandwich could have killed you by cholesterol.
Lenny: Pfft, forget it, Homer. While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human
    blood stream.

Shaq and Tracy McGrady IMO. Although I think that Gary Payton may be a better all around player than T-Mac. I gotta say Shaq even though I don't want to just b/c he is so dominant when he is in shape. It is hard to leave out Duncan, Garnett, and AI but I think those three are better players.
How about the genetics in Carter's and Mcgrady's family though, shit. Those two are cousins and they just happen to be some of the best ballers in the world.

    I agree with you man.

It's not his fault he's so nasty. it's not his fault nike wanted to sign him for $100 million. It's not his fault everyone and everything to do with the NBA wants a piece of him. The NBA is trying to rebuild from so so ratings with LeBron who is the most hyped player to come out since Jordan.

It IS his fault that's he's soooo good. and if that's wrong, i dont wanna be right.

he has proven nothing yet, key word being yet. he may well be a great player in years to come but kids coming into teh NBA this young hurts the league with out a doubt. College ball is the NBA's farm system and it has suffered immensly in the past 5-8 years. Look at how low scoring teh games are nowadays, does anyone really want to watch a 72 point game every night?? what happened to teams scoring 100 points a night. that hurts the league. There is a direct correlation between the two. Look at the pther players to come out of high school for instance. It took Kobe Bryant 4 years before he made a positive impact for the Lakers, before that he was makin mistakes that he could've learned in college. Same with Garnett, he was too small and he got banged around for a few years before he adjusted. College ball is good for a player to develop his game, to mature into a pro athlete and too many player nowadays are lacking that maturity. It is important for a player to develop with his peers, Lebron has been playing with high schoolers until now. that is insane. He may be great but this type of shit is bringing the NBA down a level. Remember how great the game was in teh early 90s and late 80s, such quality teams all around.
