to play or not to play?

Do you all think games should be played this weekend, in light of the attacks on New York and DC?

I think they should be played. We could use the distraction.

Just heard the most disgusting report yet from the football world. Art Model and Daniel Snyder are whining about lost revenue if we don't make up the games that have been called off this weekend. I say we strip those two SOB's down and set them on the 50 yard line of Cleveland Brown's stadium and give them something to whine about.

I have no problem with the games being postponed after the recent events. Just the thought of having 60,000-70,000 people in stadiums across the country without adequate time to develop proper security measures is not a good idea. The games will go on. One week wont ruin a season. I think the league is showing good descretion here.

The more events that get cancelled it makes America look like they've crippled us. We should go forward and be strong.

Unless it has to do with travel and security, which I don't think that's the main reason for the cancellation.

Guys, I changed my mind. After watching the news for three days last week, I decided it was best that they did NOT play.

Am I allowed to do that? Change my mind that is.

I've got tickets to this Friday and Saturday's Red Sox games. I'm kind of weary of going, and NOT just because the Red Sox SUCK.

I don't think they should have played myself. Simply because most of the players didn't feel comfortable playing.
