Who do you rate the BEST player in the Nba then Flex??
Well, when Shaq was on Orlando, alls he did was pull down entire backboards, but he wasnt as dominant yet.

the best player in the league is Shaq. IF the NBA had a draft, and put EVERY player in the draft pool, guarenteed Shaq would go #1. The ONLY reason he wouldn't is cuz he is getting old, and the team with the 1st pick may draft for the future w/younger guys....i.e. Kobe would be 1st if Shaq wasn't, then prob. Duncan or Garnett.....

Shaq is NOT the best player in the league, he is the best at what he does definately, but not the all around best player in the league. T-Mac is better, Kobe is better, Carter, Duncan, and Garnett are also better all around players than Shaq. Shaq can;t win by himself.

Lets say they had a NBA draft where all players go into a pool and everyone is 22 years old (that are currently in the NBA) I'd probably take Garnett or Duncan with the #1 pick. I don't care for Shaq cause of his work ethic and his big fat mouth. If he was like Duncan, and was just quiet did his job, and worked his ass off I would take Shaq possibly #1. But he is just a cocky SOB...

It's all about the rings. Walton has one (NBA and NCAA). That's why he belongs.

its not about the rings fool

there are tons of people who get rings just by sitting on the bench and being part of the team, that doesnt mean they belong on any list !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get it right

You were 6 when he retired. I don't think that counts.
To really know how someone played, you have to see them live!

I have seen countless games fgrom when he was at his greatest on Portland back in the day, in 77 when they won the title with Jack Ramsey coaching, I know what I am talkin about, so please. Put him in teh league today and he would be a bench warmer with the athletic ability he has, top ten is no where in his resume bro.

And by the way, balla is right, just b/c someone has a ring doesn't mean shit. shit Sam Cassell had two ring shis first two years in the league, does that mean he is one of the greatest guards ever, hell no. you better have a better arguement than that to put someone in the top ten players ever!

Well, like i said before, minus injuries, if they had a league-wide draft, guess who would be drafted number 1 overall.....Wilt Chamberneezee

You're wrong chump. Of course it's not only the ring, but the greatest ones find a way to win championships, not just pile up stats.

Karl Malone comes to mind as being so much fucking better than most others in the league present and past, yet he hasnt won a ring not because of lack of talent but because of a shitty team.......my point exact !!! when you know what you are talking about come talk to me

One could say the same about Wilt - how many rings does he have vs. how many he deserves

rings do not necessarily determine a players legacy, not at all. We could go down the list and name players that have rings, its irrelevant. Yes great players do win champoinships, but sometimes outside circumstances are too much. For instance, whose to say that Malone wouldn't have two rings already if not for MJ being around those two years. Does that mean that Malone isn't great, no it means that Jordan is greater. Same goes with almost everyone else in that era like Ewing, Barkley, so on and so on..... you are way off austinite.

The mailman has MVPs and scoring titles but no ring because he couldn't lead his team past MJ, who IS a champion. He left his team to join the Lakers so he could ride the wave and get a ring. Let's see if he can do it.

But thats My opinion.

Cant wait to see what I can think up for next thread

Plus Kareen could shoot free throws. Shaq still cant.

Shaq just can't run to the other end of the court fast enough to catch up with Hakeem. Maybe if there were playing on my driveway...

Talking NBA Centers

Well I have to say that your List is ok but not real accurate.
here is my List and this is based on pure atheltic ability and the ability to play good basketball.

10. Robert Parrish.
9. Bill Russell
8. Wilt Chamberlin
7. Moses Malone
6. Bill Walton
5. Patrick EKareem
4. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
3. Tim Duncan
2. David Robinson
1. Hakeem Olajuwan

The reason for this List is Wilt Chamberlin had no competition neither did bill russell in their prime and Shaq never have liked him he cant shoot cant run cant dripple has no flow about him he can just dunk. Olajuwan made him look like a fool in the nba finals in 94 just embarrased him. Olajuwan is the best ever. and remember he was in when barkley and jordan and payton and robinson and ewing was there and he still beat them all. anyway this is my list.
