this does make them better, but that dillon is a punk

The last time I looked the Pats and the Eagles were both at 5/1 to win the Super Bowl. I'll be interested to see if the odds have changed.

we got him for only a 2nd round pick too.

the only bad thing is, i mean, to be COMPLETELY honest, my Pats have absolutely spoiled me the last 3 years winning 2 Superbowls. I LOVED BEING THE UNDERDOG. now, with all this success, how much more can i hope for? now its like anything but a Superbowl victory is a let down.

oh well, i just gotta hope for a C's NBA championship (which is a LOOOOOOONG shot haha) and a Red Sox world series championship, that way i won't have to worry about the Pats. I'd NEVER watch sports again.

I think i actually preferred being the underdog. it sounds weird, but its true.

it all started that 1st Superbowl year. they were underdogs like 90% of the year, including their 8 game win streak to close out the season. of course it got topped off with the 14 pt underdog heading into the Superbowl. I LOVED hearing EVERYONE say the Pats cannot possibly beat teh Rams. I think it felt so good b/c Pats fans truely knew how good their team was.

then this year, EVERY haters, and i'm talking from Sportscasters, to newspapers, to my friends, to people on, ahem ahem IM, that said the Pats were garbage, and how the Panthers would smoke them.

now that they're favorites, its almost like i wished they were underdogs again, cuz it feels great to prove everyone wrong.

The Pats are garbage.

The Bengals getting a 2nd for him is a STEAL! THe Raiders had offered their third, so the Pats had to go to 2nd to get the deal done. The Bengals were going to cut him on June 1, so they made out pretty good.

I really can't complain about the deal from the Pats side either.

I think Andy Reid enjoys coaching the Pro Bowl team too much. If he loses in the NFC championship game he gets an all-expense-paid trip to Hawaii!

I'd be willing to bet that if he won the Supe Bowl, Ron Lurie (the owner) would give him the same thing.
