WC in Hockey, the gold goes to?

I gotta say The Czech (wonder how that spelled, but you know who I mean) republic. Mainly cuz they are traditionally such a "moody" team, and the home crowds cheering will give them the extra edge.

You got 3½ h to reply, anything after that gives partiall bragging rights only

Well, errr, as much as I would LOVE to see Da Flames get the cup, realistically, I think the Flyers are up for it this year.

The IIHF wanted Canada to win, I see no other possible explanaiton for apponting a reff from Finland to judge. And sure nuff, he proved his hatred of the former imperialists the swedes, and ruled checking from behind 2 + 10 on fagmeister when he murdered Forsberg. It was a clear boarding and a 5 + game penalty.

But enuff about that, the swedes got scared, and for the rest of the match they played with their womens handbags on, Canada deserved to win.

The only Team that should be pissed is Slovakia, with the winning goal in there game against Canada. There was Goal Tender interferfence.

However even though the Ref Missed that Call I am sure there are other calls through out the game that could have effected the outcome Either way.

    Yeah Canada!
