Eagle fan`s are in hiding.

Every Monday all I read here is how great and it`s their season to go the superbowl. After yesterdays beating from the Redskins all you Eagle fans are nowhere to be found. While in 3 weeks they play the Skins again and if they lose that one it will be even more quiet around here as far as Eagle boasting goes. A good offense was beaten by a better defense.

That game was a huge loss for us, we could of put ourselves in the drivers seat for the division title. But alas, your sneers of mockery, at myself and my Eagle brothers has given me renewed fire.

Hiding??? NEVER!!! I was at a training conference in Orlando last week without access to the internet. Yes, I hung my head for an hour or so after that abomination but I will NEVER go into hiding. To be beaten by a Redskins team that is on a hot streak is far preferable to being beaten by a Cowboys team that can't even SPELL "hot streak". We will prevail!!!!!

Yes that loss to the cowboys was rather depressing. After beating a good eagle team and losing to the lowly cowgirls really sucked. I don`t know what it is but Dallas brings out the worst in the Skins. I have confidents in their defence but the offense is not scoring enough points for them to be considered a contender, but I will take a 5-6 record after starting off 0-5.

Yes I know we somehow deserved that shot , but you Eagle fan`s were starting to get swelled heads and had to be knocked down a peg. When the Skins hit the upright on their first drive I knew it was going to be one of those days. My hat off to the Eagles defense but the Redskins really did shoot themselves in the foot every time they got into the red zone. The Skins have a good core of young players and if they can keep them together and mix in a couple of good veterans they will be higher in the standing in the next few years. Good luck to the Eagles because it won`t be an easy ride to the Superbowl with the Rams and Packers standing in their way.

Couple of very good points Schmoo. I don't know if the Eagles actually WON that game or the Redskins LOST it. The Eagles have a winning record, but it's not against the strongest teams in the league. This weekend against the 49r's is going to tell a LOT. We'll see if they can play with the big boys. I'm encouraged by how well we played against the Rams in the first game. (Until the last two minutes.) I just hope they come prepared.
