Do you know that at least half if not more of the players in the entire league are from the NFL or from big time American Universities?
For example Yo Murphy who won the Super Bowl with the St.Louis Rams against The Titans is playing for Ottawa.
Or if you remeber a great WR by the name of Mercury Hayes who was on the same Michigan Wolverine team as Amani Toomer, Ty Law, Todd Collins QB, & Tyrone Wheatley RB played in the NFL & then came the CFL & played for the Alouettes.
I've met some of these players who came from the NFL & American colleges & they've told me that there's more political BS going on in the NFL than most fans will ever know about. There's a lot of talent here.

Hell with all the money Tyson surely could have hired a good financial advisor, and at least landed some good investments... But he chose to burn up the money like it was nothing and live life irresponsibly. Then he doesn't pay his taxes. Hell, he should have learned that lesson from Willie Nelson!

Well, Tyson's in debt $38 million, and was supposed to sign a few upcoming fights to pay that back. Doesnt look like its happeneing anymore.
He's washed up. i gave him too many 2nd chances already. there was NO way i was gonna pay $45 to watch that shitty fight, or any fight of his.....and he used to be my Fav. boxer........

That point that Tyson had the fight & could've one it & then just let the other guy take it, now I'm hearing that he threw the fight to make more money.
Boxers have always thrown fights at one point in their lives just for that reason.

Wait a minute homey!! That's a really big assumption and it' sounds like it's based on opinion not on experience. First off this is tha 21st century and guys just don't throw fights or take " dives" like in tha 40's & 50's.Thats not to say that tha game is spotless but thats outdated. Nowdays it's much easier and safer for tha promoter to buy tha judges and or pay refs ( Richard Steele comes to mind off tha top of my dome) than to get fighters to take dives or throw fights. Plus there are so many organizations who are look'n to make a name and some loot in tha political end ,that it is easier to build up a OK fighter into a superstar than to get involved in throw'n fights. Plus tha state of tha game has dropped so much that there's so many bums and old timers who tha fuck needs to throw a fight on tha level of a tyson fight wit a nobody when you could really get mad loot if you let Mike win 2 or 3 fights then set up some bullshit and really get paid.Careers in tha fight game are like comets, when they fly really fast , tha trip is short and bright. There are very few Haleys in tha fight game. To me it's just a case of when it's over it's time to step. Maybe Mike did get injuried to tha point that he could'nt get off, Shit it happens !! It's happened to greats like Sugar Ray Robinson, Willie Pep, Pernell Whittiker, Tommy Hearns,Ali, Joe Frasier,Roberto Duran,Ray Leonard,etc.One things for sure, we will all know soon.But I can say first hand I personally know quite a few fighters and Champions, and I can honestly say that they would die before they would throw a fight. Bottom line is you can make more cash winn'n than you can lose'n. And as far as I can remember " cash rules everything around me". I'm not say'n some chumps won't "swim" for loot , but that's not tha norm. You feel'n me!?!?
