i knew it was coming and I hate those idiots that made it happen. I wouldnt want to be in Boston if I was Nomar. Fans were good to him but no one else. I am thinking that the cubs arent such a bad team to like. Just get Manny over there and I am switching curses

Hey, the Red Sox are stock with John Henry. We figured he'd screw you guys over at some point as he did to us here in Miami....

By the way, I am a long time Boston fan also, so I don't care for the trade because I have seen Cabrera play in Montreal (at least 20 times a year) and he's no Nomar....

Funny, I thought trades were suppose to IMPROVE your team? The Red Sox are a weaker team now than they were three days ago. We traded Nomar for a hockey puck and a sack of marbles. I don't care if Nomar wasn't the best clubhouse guy. Team Theo really screwed the pooch with this deal.

    I disagree IAB.

Nomar didnt want to play in Boston. it was a snowball effect that started when he turned down 4yrs/$60mil last year. then the Arod thing, which made Nomar even more unhappy. Then he fakes (IMO) an injury.

The Sox knew they couldnt afford to keep him. He wanted too much $$. So instead, they traded for a guy who is a gold-glover and had a good hitting year last year. At least they got SOMEthing instead of Nomar just walking after this year. thats teh most important thing.

BTW, as much as i love Nomar (and i loved him as much as teh next Boston fan), he's not the same Nomar of '99. His best years are behind him....

speaking of teh cubs, damn, they're gonna be tough.

Corey Patterson (last year Allstar), Nomar, Sosa, Alou, A-Ram.

    what a lineup!

plus Prior, Maddux, Wood, Zambrano and Clement pitching!

They may be in the World Series. (or teh unbelievable Cards)
