Actually.......no offense, cause I do like you, thats not up to you to decide . Oh I know that thats the way you feel, and you have every right to feel that way. But please tell me what is wrong with people that like professional wrestling to call it a sport? Like I said, if you dont think it is, then fine. But please tell me where its wrong for me to call it a sport. Especially since it doesnt hurt your life any. If it does....well....YOU'RE the one stopping by to read this thread. We're not forcing it on you.

C'mon brother.....Ive read many of your posts and I do have to say you have class. This is certainly beneath you to say something like this. Like I said....if you dont like wrestling, fine. Honestly. Why bother us that like it? Whats it doing for you? C'mon bro...you have more class than that.

Yeah that tag match next week will be killer. Im trying out again for WWE, if and when I make it, I'll come back here and holler and I'll give the wrestling haters here a shoutout on TV.

Hope they put me on Smackdown. Me and Rey Rey would make an excellent tag team.

I have to agree that WWE is not a sport, but I do consider the "wrestlers" athletes.

you know something Max,, your worse then a woman. NOw I'm not saying that to insult you but REALLY dude. Is this really that big a deal?? Are you not being a little bit caddy???? Just a LITTLE?? Who gives a flying shit really. If the reason all the childish attacks on this wrestling thread is just because it's in the sports section, then that is pretty sad. I suggest just growing up and skipping by threads that you don't like. This is just plain childish behavior. Now as I said, I'm done with you and the rest of your cronies. Go pick a fight elsewhere kid.
    Have a nice day.

Robert, I also agree with you....sorry MVP but even the wrestlers themselves don't consider Pro Wrestling a sport. In fact back about 10 years or so ago here in New Jersey, The Undertaker and Vince McMahon met with our Governer at the time regarding this same issue. WWE (WWF at the time) publicly announced that Wrestling wasn't a sport but an entertainment entity. This all came about due to some legal issues, taxes or something like that) which kept wrestling out of NJ at the time.

And I also agree that they are Athletes. I challenge anyone in here that talks crap about wrestling to visit a wrestling camp for a week. 90% of the people wouldn't make it past day 2.

    And to everyone,,,
One last note. I know some of the wrestling storylines are just plain rediculous and border on retardation. But where else on TV can you see bodybuliders such as Batista on a daily basis. Some of those guys have very impressive physiques and I get motivation from seeing such guys as Batista. Then of course there are the women. Trish Stratus for example was a fitness competitor and regularly featured in the bodybuilding magazines as a fitness model. Wrestling is the next best thing to bodybuilding. (and NO I'm NOT saying Wreslters are bodybuilders) I said NEXT best thing!

Yah. Lots of people I know (big muscular guys all of them) have tried out at wrestling schools and couldnt hack it. The stamina they said you need is almost unbelievable.

Thanks MVP. I just want Maxwell to understand that even though that last statement may hit home a little too close to comfort, it really wasn't said as a dig but his words in a different light.

What do you have against people's pics? Considering how comical your's are, you'd think someone of your limited....well just about everything, would leave that sensitive topic alone.

Oh and try not insult people, you're just not very good at it. Stick to what you know.....I'm sure there's something. Grunting? Scratching yourself? You must be full of amazing talents........English just ain't one of 'em.

Keep in mind folks, A LOT of people on ANY forums would not say, act or do even just a smidge of things because face to face... there is ALWAYS something that holds them back!

The best one will be when it comes down to say a "party" the one who runs their mouth the most is the one who probably passes out (drinking too much) or is the one who goes home early!

I can RUN my mouth off because Firestorm has received those illustrious 3 am calls at his job and even so, I spoke to him while at a concert or club! Shockingly enough, one of them was at a strip club called Tootsie's Cabaret! I was watching WWE PPV!

LMAO!!.....thanks FS. I really appreciate the Batista "insult" and I appreciate the fact that you think I have "the physique" to talk the talk. Thats about the best compliment I think I have ever gotten to tell you the absolute truth. I HAVE been told that I resemble Batista, BTW. Face wise. Besides Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero, Batista is my absolute favorite WWE star and one of my inspirations. Too bad Im only 5'7 164 and he's ...what? 6'5 318?? Im about to add another 15 -20 pounds though, then I'll cut that up by about 5 to 8. So maybe with my height, volume to volume, the comparisons will get better. So long as he and I dont stand next to each other, LMAO!!

Damn....I wish WWE talent would take a look at the pics I sent because I definately think there's a storyline potential between me and Batista. Maybe I could be the "little brother" or long lost family member that he left behind or wronged in some kind of way. Hey it worked with Taker and Kane, didnt it??

David..... about that "A LOT of people on ANY forums would not say, act or do even just a smidge of things because face to face... there is ALWAYS something that holds them back!" comment.......truer words have NEVER been spoken. Ive already had to shut 2 people down cause they didnt know I lived in Dallas just like they do. Funny how people act when they see that someone is willing to back up what he says. Too many internet tough guys, I'll tell ya that.

But somehow.......I honestly dont think there's many posers here on this board. I really dont. This board is unique amongst all the ones I hang at. There's more hardcores and DEFINATELY more personal trainers here. AND the beautiful ladies. You guys ever get a load of the ladies you have here??? DA-YUM!!! There may be more ladies at other places but the beauty ratio is damned higher here. That GoalGetter gal is gonna cause me to eat this damned monitor someday.

Im gonna try and make it to Wrestlemania next year. If I do and I get on camera, Im gonna have to give a shoutout to my wrestling homies here. I'll be the one being escorted out by security.

    WWE is awesome

I've been reading this thread and I have to say a lot of you dont know what your talking about. I myself am training to become a wrestler and its hard work. Some of you seem to think its nothing to be a wwe wrestler. They put their life on the line everytime they step into a ring just to please the fans. And guess what? Wrestling is a sport. What is a sport exactly? Its a physical activity with competition involved. Um thats exactly what wrestling is. So dont give me any crap that it isnt because that is exactly what it is. All of the moves they do are real. I'd like to see the ones in here that are dissing wrestling to go into a ring and take a chokeslam or a german suplex, cuz I bet you anything you would be begging to get out. When you see them jumping off a cage or falling off a ladder I dont see any cables hooked up to them...because there arent any! What they do is REAL. Yeah they're putting on show but its entertainment. I'd rather watch WWE RAW or Smackdown then baseball, hoceky, basketball or any other sport because its way more exciting. They have something new every week. The wrestlers are the best athletes in the world.

Well, many "moons" ago I did mention the ethics and daily routine and practices of a wrestler in the sense of describing what exactly a pro wrestler's body in particular endures! It is of no stranger to anyone the "physical conditions & abuse" of most pro wrestlers! Their freaking bodybuilders practically minus the fine detail and symmetry. But they do take care of their bodies, that's for sure. On the other hand, one has to wonder how someone like Mick Foley, Big show etc. takes such a beating on their bodies, landing correctly and not having as sound of a shape as a Batista, Orton etc. It appears to be in the case "High intelligence, a more extreme detail to falling correctly and mental toughness".

So the question would be is..... "How many of "us" that have never been suplexed... thrown from any ropes.. land on our supposed backs in a ring repeatedly, mind you, through a table etc. ?" I would have a chance of being able to get back up in 30 seconds in this percentage. 10%

I'd like to see another pic of you which includes your WHOLE mug(face). Work on that will ya!!
I'd love to see you standing next to Batista that would be a cool visual.

That is soo cool that you sent pics in. If your really interested, there are several wrestling schools that supply the WWE with new talent. If your really interested PM me and I can help get you hooked up.

I'm as big a wrestling fan in here as all of you. I've followed it when color TV was not in every home and you only got 13 channels on your tv and needed a Rotor Box to adjuct your tv antenna. Why do I bring this up? To validate one thing. Wrestling is NOT A SPORT. NO it's not a compitition. There is no Compitition if the outcome is predetermined and the routine is worked out in advance. In Rick Flares Book which of course I have and read 2ice already, he says himself that the majority of wrestlers today are not the best technicians ONLY because 90 or better Percent work their routines out in advance. He as well as others from his era, did no such thing. They worked their routines out as they went. They literally spoke to one another during a match and did it so well that the fans were not wise to it. "I'm going to suplex then elbow drop ya" Don't "take" for me comeback" after this was done more directions to one another,, will you bleed for me? Yea more moves worked out, Rick or whomever would cut themselves etc. and the match would go on to the pre-determined end. So point is it's not a compitition so therefore not a sport.

LOL....I didnt say Rey, I said people say I resemble Batista in the face. I dont think so, he has chiseled features while my own face is still "soft".

As far as getting in on a good school, ok. I may do that. I have a friend who is also hooked up. But Im trying to sidestep that because it takes too long. What I did was send in pictures and an application to the WWE tryout camp that they had this spring at Ohio Valley Wrestling. This was fully sponsored by WWE and not just a school hooked up with them. They said it was the "first" anual try out camp, so that leads me me to think that maybe they will do it again this coming year. If they dont, then I will definately take you up on the offer. And you have NO idea how much I appreciate that.

And I agree about that whole last post. Im not one of those gullible enough to not know its all live theater. But DAMN.....what a hell of a live theater it is!!!!
