    Olympic soccer: Iraq upsets Portugal

I'm not a huge soccer fan, but you've got to be happy for the Iraqi soccer team. Good for them!

Wow, and they didn't even have to bomb Team Portugal's locker room to get it done.

Yeah, you get pretty good when you build soccer stadiums with the money you're SUPPOSED to be using to buy food.

OK, enough sarcasm for today. I agree with IAB (I HATE saying that!) Congrats to a team that has had to endure a lot. They deserve to have something to celebrate for a change.
Rules? You mean we have RULES for that???

seriously though, Iraq over Portugal is a major upset by any standard. i didn't even know iraq had a soccer team. i thought they spent their free time making bombs
Chuck Norris once lost his keys and couldn't remember where he put them. So he tortured himself for half an hour until he gave up their location.

    HAHA OMG, that was hilarious.

In all seroiusness i'm happy for the soccer team. Sports/athletes in Iraq (one of the FEW positives) were subjected to torture for losing as recent as when Saddam's sons were in power (it was one of the sons that actually ordered it).

With all the WAR going on in their country and death and desctruction from the US with for no real reason, they don't have much to be happy about. They beat an up and coming powerhouse in teh world of soccer, good for them, they shouild be proud.
You're a funny guy, Sully, I like you. Dat's why I'm going to kill you lahst.

"This victory will be received with happiness by my people, who
have suffered through much," said Iraqi coach Adnan Hamad, whose
countrymen were already taking to the streets of back in Baghdad,
lighting up the night sky with streaks of celebratory gunfire.

As long as they're not shooting at our soldiers, in celebration, it's all good.
