DAAAAAAAAANG........never really knew all that about the big guy. He was before my time as a fan of WWE. I did read this news on another board (NOT a fitness board) and someone automaticaly came out and said it was probably due to roids. Maybe, maybe not, but thats besides the point. After reading this, I kinda wish I had been around in his hey day. A hell of a guy if you ask me.

OH man. I just love those wannabe doctors that know everything. I very much doubt it was due to steroid abuse. He didn't have the appearance of a big roid user. he was just big and actually looked naturally big. If I were to make a guess, I'd say it was due to his weight and possibly a hereditary heart condition. and that is opinion since I'm also not a doctor but I very much doubt it was due to steroids.

I"m surprised though, WWE didn't do the 3 bells at the beginning of their shows this week. just dedicated Monday nights show to him. No mention of him though. I don't like that.

They had something about him on Smackdown, but I was fixing my PWO shake and I missed that part. Im thinking that they are of the mindset that its probably not in the best general interest to draw too much attention to a wrestler's death seeing as to how most of them have died in rather "abnormal circumstances" of late. Thats just the feeling Im getting. Remember the hoopla with Miss Elizabeth a while back? Definately not good press. I dont like it either, but I cant....... I dunno, Im having a bit of trouble with that even if it does "make sense" for them to do that.

PS. Firestorm, Im in a bulking contest on my other board. Maybe I can get a little more Batista lookin here soon, lol.

pm me the board and thread. I'd like to see what your doing. In regards to your training, you should give P/RR/S a try. It has done wonders for many members here. Guarenteed to put the size on ya brother.

Ive read the P/RR/S stuff and I have to say Im ....... well, lets just say Im of a different mindset. To each his own.

Speaking strictly for myself, Ive been working out for so long (off and on, admitedly) that Ive come to learn that a lot of this workout stuff is really splitting hairs. For one thing, Im mainly a performance trainer. I lift for explosive power in fighting. My "muscles" are just gravy, to tell you the truth. But I lift with low weights and high to very hig reps. I also use half reps, mini reps, super sets, giant sets, and all manner of crazy "you shouldnt do that all the time" workouts and Ive always put on muscle no matter what. But I also try and limit the amount of muscle since I dont want to get too big. Im not a mass freak even though I do like the mass monsters. Im only 5'7 and I honestly dont think Id look good with too much. Plus which I like my speed at my size.

Anyways, Im in this friendly "contest" for one reason and one reason only: It is my opinion that too many people focus on the training or supplements and not the nutrition part of it. Supplements mainly. I see so much more space and attention devoted to these two topics than I do nutrition. Im in this friendly contest to show that no matter what you take, or what you do, its your diet thats going to ultimately define the boundaries of your progress. I just trip out on all these people (not here) that claim to take PHs and/or juice time after time and really have very little to show for it. Honest. Now Im not perfect by any means, but I think the fact that I can gain muscle doing what the mass majority of people say you shouldnt do (including hosts of hoity-toity trainers) says something.

Dang. I think this is the most Ive ever said about myself and my training views here on this board. Usually I just shut the fuk up and read and learn from you guys. And on a wrstling thread, no less. LOL

But enough of this embarrasing hijack, I'll PM ya the thread.

Well your points are VERY well taken and being an ex competitive martial artist, I know exactly where your coming from. Bulk will take away from speed without question. and if what your doing works for you I always say don't fix what aint broke. I'm glad you shared this here and you SHOULD post it in the training section under a title like "training like a fighter" or something similar. Thank you for spending the time jotting that all down for me.

Did you see the dress That Dawn Marie wore on Thursday??? OH MOMMA!!!

I personaly dont like it when girls dress slutty or revealing, but that dress managed to be sexy AND classy, even if it was short. My goodness.....that is one beautiful woman.

Hey while they were rolling around on the floor, I tried to embarrass my 11 year old son by asking him,, Hey Nick, which one has the prettiest underwear. Well he smiled knowing what I was doing and he said RICO. What a pisser. I found that a good quick comeback. He was getting a little red when I asked him and he came back with a joke. really quick.

7 years old and can already do a 619....... dude that is really amazing. Try it yourself one day, its NOT as easy as it looks. I dont have kids, but I do have two nephews who live with me and both love wrestling. I only allow that kind of stuff in the pool, so yeah, they get F5s, FUs, suplex's, Last Rides....all that cool stuff. They come out with red backs and bellies from hittin the water, but they love it. Little masochists...lol.
