Hey you can't win them all. They were 5-4 when Eli came in... and started out the Season 4-0...
Yeah what a role.
But You said it exactly they were 4-0 & at the beginning of the season & the QB for those games was champion veteran QB Kurt Warner.
Even if they lost a couple games with Kurt before they put in Eli (who hast lost about 5 games), you still have a real good shot of getting in the playoffs with a 5-4 record as long as you can keep winning.
& we at this point WE WON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT could've or should've happened had they kept Kurt Warner in as QB.
I personally think they could've won at least 3 out of 3 if not 4 out of the last 6 games had they kept Kurt Warner in the game.
Personally I would've kept Kurt in the game & maybe had 10 or 11 wins on the season then I would've put in Eli but not for the whole game, only for certain plays or if the score was running up.
I would not have thrown away the season just so Eli could gain his exeprience.
Yes I would play Eli to give him playing time, but not for entire games especially if our team needed wins.

I'll say it again, I didn't think he would be that good. I figured his father wasted all the good DNA on Payton.

Well he is already better than I ever thought he'd be. Seriously, I expected another Heath Shuler, David Klingler, Dan McGwire, Andre Ware, Todd Marinovich, etc.

EEK, those names are best forgotten.
