I hope he stays out of Dallas. Pitsburg could use him.

    Yeah really,

You know some team is going to sign him. Personally I don't think he should even get to play in the CFL or Arena ball. He lost all cred as far as I am concerned.
I don't know how anyone in the NFL (owners/coaches/players/fans) could look at him the same again.

He is an alright guy. I was around him some when he was at UT. He just has anxiety issues and turns to drugs and sex for help. Everyone has problems. The NFL is very stressful. Trust me, Ricky has general anxiety disorder. Even at night clubs, I could tell he was nervous just being around people.

So he got busted for weed, got sat down for about a minute, got pissed off and retired resulting in his team sucking ass for the rest of the year, and now wants back in to keep from having to give back allllll that cash that he really did not earn and then tried to walk off with.
He CAN run a little ...

He bailed on his team mates, his contractual obligations, and his fans. But the dude can run like hell. Team sports is not about respect for the team or being role models anymore. It is about getting the win and the resulting pay raise.

well if he is in a dolphins uniform for even a minute then the entire front office should be fired, I tell you what. in fact maybe thats not a bad idea anyways. He will probab end up in silver and black, which is fine with me, he'll fit right in in Oak. he is a bitch, but it doesn't really matter. Maybe he just hated Miami

Profession sports is big business, and Ricky Williams stock isn't worth anything IMO. He is not worth a quarter of what he used to be worth. You can not build a team a round a player that may up and leave his team high and dry at anytime. Pro sports is big business, but is signing Ricky Williams for mad $$$ a good financial investment??, IMO no.

I have no doubt that he will be signed somewhere, because he dose have skills. But does anyone involved with the NFL respect him anymore?? It will be interesting to see how it all works out.

This is coming from me a die hard Dolphins fan... I don't want him back. I wouldn't have cared if he retired last season or even before the draft. Even if he got hurt screwing around playing football or basketball. But he left the team for his own selfish reasons. He severly(sp?) handicaped the Dolphins and screwed up their plans. If he did it prior to the draft they could have drafted a decent running back in the 1st round. But instead they trade for Lamar Gordon and he gets hurt almost instantly. I think they gave up a 3rd round choice next year too for him.

Bright side with this season though they will probably have the 2nd overall pick in the draft next year (but possibly no 2nd round pick for the trade of A.J. Feely and possibly the 3rd round pick for Lamar Gordon. I need to check the specifics on that.) They can trade down in the draft, get more pics and fix that horrid offensive line and pick up a decent back.
Well thanks for reading my rant!

He wont go anywhere next year. He is going to end up beeing the only person to benefit from all of this. He doesn't have to pay anything back and he keeps getting paid. Miami can't afford to lose him and another team won't give Miame what he's worth. It sucks! Man I'm glad I'm an Aggie fan!
